I have heard of a DOUBLE tard gainer that has been done very recently. Jumper held and contained nylon (with lines in tailpocket) double gainer then release. A few jokingly named it the "game-over".

I have ZERO thoughts of suicide. If I did come to a point (god help me) where suicide was the "only" way out I wouldn't do it jumping because I have too much respect of the sport and my friends in the sport. I could see why one would want to go out that way, but I wouldn't. Overall I see suicide as SELFISH. An easy way out. Your loved ones (and there out there) feel the pain and burden of your death more than you. If your to a point where this option is your only choice, reach out to whoever, me even. With a little bit of time and a few (non-human asking type) search engine type sites, I found every site I could kill myself with(everything I know, legal, not so legal, etc.). Just couldn't find the "I want to live" on the net, the search goes on.

I see that your being sarcastic, yet I can tell it irks you to confront this. Being the 'safe man' or the 'parent' of a group is UNCOOL. Not an attack at all. Shannon's death had nothing to do with the slider set up. Jumping slider up or down at the perrine, like all jumps, is a personal choice. a sub 500 bridge IS different than a sub 500 cliff. This bridge even more so. This bridge like all need to be respected, yet it is an object where you can get away with a lot. Too much sometimes. Perrine: slider up or down, take the same delay. 3+ max (normally), anymore well....

BD 04. Red Bull AIr Force jumpers Miles and Shane. Miles landed in the tree after the double connected TARD, cutaway his main, swung under shane, cutaway AGAIN and deployed. He was completely unhurt AFAIK. I was on the bridge watching.

I know I am slow when climbing, but I always make sure I have at least 3 points of contact to keep myself as safe as possible. 3 people in one single event, an aggressive investigation needs to take place. That whole piece was made from Dwain Weston. Tom reposted it. I think it should be reread by any self perserving jumper (most of you all) periodically. That sort of post (which most of DW's were) made you think, evaluate, and imagine worst case type jumps before they occured to you. He passed on his knowledge as he (l)earned it. Thank You Dwain. I can easily imagine a weak PC toss where the bridle does not get extracted and the PC does. I have seen at least 5 recent videos of jumpers MISSING the PC completly on BASE jumps (with a sure handed second attempt) from this object.

Does it look like this? You just put in your delay and push start when you jump.

With a crane you can climb all the way out pretty much assuring yourself a no object strike scenerio. A crane is not an A. A water tower is not a building. Its closer to a a power tower than anything. The wind blows through it (after the bladder portion) and most likely is in an environment that has cars driving, people walking, other buildings (a structure made to hold people inside of it) around it. Both are considered O's in my book.
