You could start out as an old school jumper with a hand-me-down wonderhog and a clapped out skydiving main. you could work your way throught the velcro revalution, move on to pin rigs, bottom skin inlets, smoking pants wingsuits... all this could be going to comps the old BD, RG GoFast, Malasia, the Moab boogies, and evading cops. And maybe if Hookitt had his way you could throw in some crack heads to foil your plan, and get your gear confiscated for a couple days. haha i am having to much fun at work.

On the setup of your character you could choose to be a euro, northamerican or from down under. you could choose which route you wanted, low cliffs, nice 'safe' bridge, or the big walls of norway as your FJC. then you could have a death camp too!!! you could also earn your pilots ticket, for scouting out obj, and helis for when your lazy. i'll buy 2, but gotta jump, for real.

cant find my camera.. however, I use 4 metal clamps (about 6 in long)made by craftsman. part number 65943. In addition to that I use 5 smaller clamps (about 3 inches) made by Pony part number 3201. Home depot. oh yeah they are all made with metal with rubbers on all 4 ends..

Wouldnt matter, BASE jumpers v. NPS has about the same record. You couldnt hurt anything

Thay can take your gear in most cases, sometimes they do, sometimes they dont. Most coppers dont deal with us on an as regular basis as NPS, and in that they may not know the ins and outs of busting us. Which could be a good thing, or a bad thing. Nic

You are right in my choice in boots. I have only used Hanwags (vs other high end ankle supporting boots) in parachute operations. However I think that their dominance in the paragliding market may give some insight to their BASE application. But it really doesnt matter, just wear Teva's

After a lot of hiking and subsequent BASE and Ground launching I have an ultimate respect for the hanwags!! this is what I use, they are light, sturdy and clean (in terms of snag points.) got them from apex (my second pair)
