I jump without my glasses, and I have 20/40 vision, which isn't bad, but I wouldn't drive without my glasses on. I don't know about all of that. I've done bungee jumps twice, (in zambia, which added a whole new fear into the equation: is anything safe in zambia? haha) The ground rush you get while bungee jumping is amazing, and I rank the adrenaline rush right up there with skydiving. However, you are very correct in that skydiving takes a lot more skill. I really wouldn't think bungee jumping outta a balloon would be that much fun... not as much ground rush as a bridge. just my 2 cents. MB 3528, RB 1182

welcome back to the sport. Now remember I'm not an expert in any way, but I would say do the tandem before you restart. I've never done a tandem, but after I stopped jumping for a few months, then restarted, it was like my first jump all over again. So if you have the cash, do the tandem, you'll get acclimitized back to the sky, and you will also get a little landing confidence back. MB 3528, RB 1182

get "direct-connect" trust me on this one... it kicks ass. you get into different servers based on how much you're sharing with other users. no more of that crap where some guy is downloading 5 files off you, but sharing nothing. wait till you get into the 40gig sharing servers.... ohhhh yeah 'drrrroooooollll' movies, games, music... everything. unfortionately, my college shut it down on campus... something about it using like 50% of our bandwidth oh yeah, and when i last got it, it had NO spyware of any kind. make sure you check before you install though.
