use Direct Connect... its a file-sharing program that has many servers... you are allowed into servers based on how many gigs you are sharing... so if you are sharing 10 gigs of stuff, you can get into a server that has 300 people all with 10 gigs of stuff... thats like 3000 gigs of movies, music, porn etc. I use it all the time to get movies and music videos. I have always heard that if you use a sitsuit, you rely on it too much, and so then you can't actually do a sitfly as good as people who learned without a sitsuit. I'm also learning to sitfly, and everyone has been telling me just to wear something kinda baggy on your arms, like a sweatshirt or a big long-sleeved tshirt. this may sound too obvious, but add up the costs of the jumps you will be doing, along with a couple hundred dollars for redoing jumps you mess up on. Its usually about $2000 for a midline used rig, less if you get an older setup, or more if you get a newer setup. however, you don't have to worry about buying gear until at least you're off student status. I don't see a problem with that. I learned with static line and I did my first hop and pop (a solo jump) at jump 6. Also, don't forget price all depends on what type of training you do... static line is usually much cheaper, but aff lets you have more fun on your first few jumps. if you want to see more pros/cons of static line vs aff, just do a forum search. don't forget, I'm still a relative newbie, so take this all with a grain of salt.
