  1. Just wondering If anyone knows of any busy Dropzones looking for Ti's that own their own gear. I bought a new mmicro sigma 2 years ago and love it and have considered buying another if I could find a place that wouldn't frown on it. I bought mine after getting sick of jumping gear that should have been burned. If first you don't succeed then skydiving isn't for you!
  2. Riggers, I was just curious to as of how much every one is charging for assembeling a new rig (main, reserve, packing both main and reserve). Also what are you charging for repacks. Just curious I want to make sure I'm in the ball park with every one else. If first you don't succeed then skydiving isn't for you!
  3. Just curious what was your serial number....I just sent in my order today for a new micron!!! But am probably not that lucky! If first you don't succeed then skydiving isn't for you!

    wings w-5

Just curious if anyone out there has put a katana 107 or similar sized canopy in a wings w-5, and how did it fit. Thanks
  5. Here's a picture of Todd I came across that was on my cell phone. This was in july after Todd and had just got are aff ratings, the ink was still wet in our log books!!! We all went to the bar to celebrate and it just happened to be dollar burger night. This made Todd quite happy as he orderd a dozen hamburgers for himself. The waiter looked at him and asked him if he was for real, Todd replied lady this will feed me for the rest of the week. To make things better Todd boxed up every ones left over fries to bring home for left overs on top it. The next day I drove back to chip with Todd so we could put my new rig together. For lunch we had cold hamburgers with cold french fries to boot. We would have had ketchup but there was none left in the club house and it was to far to walk to Todd's apartment in the hanger to get any. Todd it was great flying with you during the AFF course...thanks for all the help. Jumper in tow!!! If first you don't succeed then skydiving isn't for you!
  6. Blue Skies L.O. miss your posts If first you don't succeed then skydiving isn't for you!
  7. Were these stills taken with the hc 1 or the cx 100? Also I just got a new cx100 how do you take the stills while in record mode? Is it as simple as adding a bite switch to the input port on the hype eye d pro? Sorry if it sounds like a dumb question...I'm still pretty new to camera flying. If first you don't succeed then skydiving isn't for you!
  8. First off whats your hurry on downsizing? Your profile says you only have 410 jumps. A katana 107 is a good way to put yourself in the hospital this early in your carreer. I see your jumping a Katana 120 already which is already an overly agressive choice take the time and learn how to fly your 120 don't let wing loading do the swooping. I've owned a W-8 120 was pretty loose in it so I'd think a 107 would be way to small. Good luck stay alive If first you don't succeed then skydiving isn't for you!
  9. Blue Skies for ever brother!!! You will be dearly missed by all. It's not gona be the same with out you at chip. I didn't know you as well as some but I enjoyed hanging out with you winters at chip....was also alot of fun going through the aff course with you. I laugh remembering your reaction as I tracked away with our examiners pilot chute in hand. Glad you could share the laugh with me. Fly Free....with love, Nick & Jessica If first you don't succeed then skydiving isn't for you!

    Wings W7

I was just wondering what size main canopies will fit in this container. I have a pilot 132 in it right now and it is really tight. I'm looking at downsizing this summer some time. If first you don't succeed then skydiving isn't for you!
  11. Nice Thread Dave I'll leave it to you to start another boobie thread but hey I'm not complaining. So, are you going to jump with us this winter or is it to cold for you? If first you don't succeed then skydiving isn't for you!
  12. Yeah wish it wasn't raining in Superior, I was looking forward to doing your recurreny jump with you Dave. Guess I'll have to do it next weekend....and after we can get the Tequila in Lake Nebagmon If first you don't succeed then skydiving isn't for you!

    Hey Rev Jim!

Hey, Dave I'll be there. Get your rig put back together yet? I made 14 jumps last weekend, hopefully get some out of the otter tomorrow. But I hear we're going to start jumping in Superior next weekend so get your rig together so I can make a jump with you. Nick If first you don't succeed then skydiving isn't for you!
  14. I was jumping a saber 150 loaded at 1 to 1. The winds were 7 m.p.h gusting to 9 m.p.h If first you don't succeed then skydiving isn't for you!
  15. I wasn't in any pain afterward.... I did a tandem landing lift my legs and slid in nice and soft on my butt. If first you don't succeed then skydiving isn't for you!
