  1. Make sure you notify Manifest and the Pilot. When you do a CReW jump or any high altitude hop n pop the plane usually does circles around you. For safety and so that other planes can avoid you.
  2. Just relax and do exactly what your instructor's tell you to do. Relaxing is the most important and hardest part. And have fun!!
  3. Happy Birthday Bill I also have read about you and admire some of the things you have a done and accomplished in Skydiving.
  4. I am unable to answer this poll. due to the fact that I have never met George Bush
  5. Hmmm not sure if anywhere would fit that criteria. Dallas, TX isn't bad. FL is a tough place to make a living. Those are the two places that I have lived other then Northern Illinois.
  6. I would be fine if I were the one landing the plane. Its a control issue. Riding the plane down doesn't really bother me that much. It's just that I would rather be the one in the drivers seat.
  7. I don't have a car and have no way to get to the dropzone
  8. They still do that at Skydive Dallas. I don't know about other places. This year at Skyfest a bunch of people recieved their SCR and SCS. Bill Newell SCR 3 was there for it.
  9. You should check out the freefly videos on http://www.omniskore.com/comp/2003/nats/2003_nats.htm specifically this onehttp://www.omniskore.com/comp/2003/nats/ff_352_rd6.wmv These guys are really good.

    The Cubs

Yeah but did you know that the Cubs are the second oldest team in the League and they were the first team to win back to back World series? Too bad they couldn't shock the world and do it again.
  12. I have flown out of Dallas Fort Worth Airport, Chicago Midway and Atlanta International. I have had no problem carrying my rig on the plane with me. But I don't have an AAD installed.
  13. Wish I could have been there. Jeff and Lee are definitely awesome. They both have a lot of knowledge and are not shy about sharing it.
  14. Yeah me too. If the Cubs are not there I don't care. Its the first and only team my dad ever took me to see as a kid. Till I was in second or third grade I thought that Chicago was the capital of Illinois. "Springfield! Where the hell is Springfield!" Is what I said when the teacher told me what the capital is. To me Chicago will always be the capital of Illinois. Go Cubs
  15. Apparently they did escort him out with lots of security. They needed it. I am certain there are some very pissed off people there with a lot less restraint then I would have if I were there.
  16. that guy still needs an ass whoopin.
  17. That guy needs a good old fashioned ass whoopin.
  18. This fourth game is looking to be a blow out like the second one. If the Cubs win this one it is pretty much a given that they will win the series. There is no way they would go three games with out winning at least one game.
  19. What nail biter!!!! woohoo yeah Cubbies!!!
  20. Its a close game. I hope the Cubs and pull out a win today.
  21. Here is an interesting article on sueing your customers and why it is not likely to work in the long run. http://knowledge.wharton.upenn.edu/articles.cfm?catid=7&articleid=863&homepage=yes

    Bless the Cubs

yup The Marlins failed to show up for the game yesterday. Guess they are not interested in going to the world series.
  23. Thought I was dead a couple of times due to car accidents. When I was a kid I loved to jump ramps with my bike. I learned a real good lesson in who not to trust to guard the ramp while I got running start. I had a neighbor kid guard that ramp and while I had my back turned he moved the board up so that it was too steep. I hit that ramp going as fast as I could and whent straight up and straight down. I landed with one foot on one side and one on the other side of the front tire and my crotch right on the goose neck. OUCH I fell over and laid on the ground for what seemed like hours waiting for the pain to stop.
