  1. I have been in two life threatening car accidents and wore my seatbelt in one and not the other. It saved my life when I wore it and would have kept me trapped under the vehicle in the other. There is no guarantee that anything will save your life. Its just dumb luck that I am still alive. I rarely wear a seat belt because I am ok with the risk.

  3. Do you get your guns back after the 18 months?
  4. Excellent books I have read every one of his Ender series books. Ender's Game is still the best one.
  5. could always get a port replicator. That would make it easier to hook up a mouse keyboard and monitor while at home/Dorm.
  6. Hell yeah USPA can't afford buy publicity that good.
  7. I think if you are not happy with your self then what makes you think you would be happy looking like someone else? Still the same person no matter what you look like on the outside.
  8. The Russians don't have a good history of taking care of their people.
  9. I chose not to ride to altitude and do a hop n pop because I forgot my full face helmet and didnt have any goggles. The only reason was because I didn't want to risk loosing my perscription glasses in freefall. I don't wear goggles for CReW. I don't actually require anything other then my Rig which doesn't have an AAD and I don't require an RSL but it is equiped with one that can at times be unhooked.
  10. I have an IBM A31 that I have used constantly 5 days a week for the last 2 years and have had only one problem with the video card. Since then my company has been bought out and now only buy Dell. Dell sucks! Their laptops are flimsy and I have had call them numerous times for warranty work on their laptops. At least their servers are not that bad.
  11. Is that going to be enough beer?
  12. ha ha guess it should be standard to look it up on snopes
  13. Too many politicians these days to even consider doing any thing like that. They have totally stretched out and destroyed the term "cruel and unusual punishment"
  14. Sounds like a plan to me.
  15. I would think they would be smart enough to take what they can get and then continue with their terrorist ways. All the while saying that there is no way to contain the crazy terrorists. It seems the Palastinians won't accept anything but total removal or death of all of the Israelis. Its not very realistic to expect the Israelis to agree to that. They were already given their piece of land why would they totally give it up just to appease their sworn enemies. Not much really makes sense in that part of the world.
  16. Apparently the Palestinians have never heard of "give an inch, take a mile" They don't seem to be willing to take any type of compromise. There will never be any peace in the so called holy land.
  17. So BBJ is the best style because it dominates in UFC. That's funny. I can say the same thing that striking arts are the best because they dominte in San Shou. How well do you think a BBJ guy is going to do in a boxing tournament? Put the Gracies against Mike Tyson. I'll put my money on Mike. Does that mean boxing is better than BJJ? I haven't been keeping up with UFC rules, but is eye gouging biting, kicking the groin, fish hook, ripping ears, nose kicking your opponent when he is down. Any of this allowed? So much for reality. -favais Of those Kicking your opponent whne he is down is allowed and groin kicks are also at least the were in the first few UFC
  18. I liked the first few UFC's there were fewer rules then. No time limit. I don't know how it could possibly be geared toward any martial art with so few rules.
  19. I don't know what BJJ is, but I've been in an awful lot of fights and always take them to the ground. Once there, my wrestling experience (11 years) almost always gives me the upper hand. It's really pretty funny...I use the "say uncle" bit in real fights, and it usually works. They don't always say the actual word, but far more often than not, they yield from either pain or lack of oxygen. Still, I'm getting a bit old for fighting. I'm confident I can still hold my own, but I'll generally try to avoid violence if possible. I don't need the sore muscles/fists afterwards or the concern about legal ramifications. Blues, Dave Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is what I meant by BJJ
  20. One thing that really impressed me about BJJ is that the sparring is basically wrestling with a lot less rules. The goal is to either choke the person out or put them in enough pain to tap out. Very effective in a one on one street fight. Every fight I have ever seen has gone to the ground.
  21. Tae Kwon do 1year Brazilian Jiu Jitsu 1 year haven't had the money since skydiving to keep it going long enough to reach black belt
  22. Yeah If I did cash and spend it and they ask for it. There is a good chance that they will want their money back with interest. Not too many people win arguments with the IRS
  23. Yeah the ironic thing is that just a few weeks ago or so they sent me a letter saying I worked two jobs in CA that I didn't report in my 2000 return and they wanted $1400. some one was using my name and SS number to work. Most likely an illegal mexican.
  24. This year I received exactly what I thought I was going to in my tax return. This check just arrived today with no explanation
  25. I just got a check from the US Treasury dept. for $314. I already received my Tax return. I have no idea why they sent this, other then I do remember getting less then what I thought I was going to get on last years return. I don't remember how much less. hmmmm What do you think I should do?
