    r/c skydiving?

That is soooo coool I wonder if they could add a couple of more servo's to control pulling down the front risers. Try swooping in one of these little guys.
  2. Thats ok enjoy this win. The Cubs are just toying with them. I hope. Anyway it was real exciting game.
  3. holy men of God (chosen by God Himself) spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. (2nd Peter:20,21) I see this the same way that I see the televangilists on TV healing people. Everyone sees things differently. The odds of anyones religious beliefs being changed by what anyone says here in these forums is very very slim to none. I didn't start this poll so that you could have a chance to change my beliefs or anyone elses. I am happy to agree to disagree. The reason that I started this poll is that I was curious as to what others think and believe. I have no intrest in changing what everyone believes in. What I believe in could very possibly be wrong. But it is how I believe and I am comfortable with that. "The Bible is right....only a fool would deny something so obvious." I don't mind being called a fool. Who knows you could be right and I could be wrong. I don't think so, but you never know.
  4. "people with death wishes" I don't have a death wish. If I had a death wish I wouldn't use a parachute
  5. 7 at most 4 at the least. This is just amazing
  6. Ok what is your prediction? Cubs in 5. With Woods and Prior pitching they are looking great!
  7. I never thought I would ever live to see this. The Cubs are 7 games away from going to the World Series Go Cubbies
  8. how many times did he pull the trigger?
  9. I read that book. I thought it was a very odd book. I like some of his other books like "Have space suit will travel"
  10. Yeah but no polls I don't want a discussion on what is best, right or wrong. Just a view of what skydivers believe in.
  11. I did a search and found that there were no poll's for what religion does every one believe in. This is not to encite any arguments over who is right and who is wrong. Just curious as to what everyone believes in. I personally don't believe in any religion but do think there is a god. I have no idea what he has in mind for everyone here and I don't think that any one else really knows either. I don't believe the bible is from god anymore then any other book. They were all written by man.
  12. interesting plan even though Robin Williams didn't write that. The only problem with that is who would do all of those jobs that illegal mexicans are doing? Not Me. There would have to be special considerations for them.
  13. Probably not too many people that even know what lynx is much less having even used it.
  14. I have a Havoc and I have never felt all that comfortable with the face open under canopy. I always leave it down. I am pretty used to it being down now. It's a pretty big helmet.
  15. I am not saying that an online dealer can't get your order correct. It's just that you will need to work a little more to be sure that they have all the information they need. Emailing a drawing of your rig would be a good idea.
  16. I bought my Odyssey through a local dealer who is also a rigger, John Storrie. This worked out great since I got him to do the measurements, just to make certain that the fit was perfect. I couldn't ask for a better fitting rig. I prefer dealing with people face to face rather then over the internet or mail order. Then you know that they understand what you are wanting and the order is more likely to be correct.
  17. Cubs did much better then I expected. 4 to 2 over Braves

Do you happen to have a higher resolution version of that?
  19. First CReW jump Now I really want a Lightning 143 but don't have an extra $2000
  20. Are you sure about that? I once worked in a Hog slaughter plant. I worked in the Rendering dept. where they process all of the stuff you are talking about and it ends up as Meat and Bone meal. That is used to add protein in animal feed, such as dog food.
  21. Risk versus Reward for me the risk is worth the reward
  22. You know it really doesn't matter whether skydiving is less or more dangerous then driving a car. What does matter is that by saying so implies that skydiving isn't really all that dangerous. Skydiving is dangerous. Is it more dangerous then driving? There isn't really any way to absolutely prove to everyone one way or the other. I personally don't think that skydiving is less dangerous then driving a car. I feel that any new person interested in skydiving has to understand the risks that they are taking and be able to accept them. These risks need to be made real to them and not sugar coated. They need to accept responsibilty for their choice to skydive and understand that on any jump they could easily die.
  23. Saying things like "Skydiving is safer then driving" doesn't really help a whuffo that is not really sure that they want to skydive. They need to be able to handle the risk involved in skydiving. Like Skybytch says you can do every thing right and still die. If they can't handle the risk and are not really willing to expose themselves to high risk sports then they will most likely freeze up and get themselves killed in those moments in skydiving when they need to think quickly and make the right decision. It really takes a certain type of person to be able to handle it and they will seek out this sport. There will be no need to convince them.
  24. Ok I have had this one for about 9 years now
  25. I grew up west of Chicago, didn't leave till I was about 21. Every time I think of the Cubs I think of Harry Caray. There was no way they would ever retire him. Even when old age was tripping him up in his announcing, he was still kept in the announcing position.
