i went totally deaf in my left ear, at least you can still hear out of yours. if you think the noise is annoying, try not being able to hear anything but the ringing noise.... the ringing comes and goes, you will get use to the noise and it will bother you less over time. on the up side my right ear is super human! i am 6' ish and 150lbs, i fly an rbird, i can get well over 3 min out of it, averaging 33-38mhp, you do not need an extremly large wing to get long times in the sky.... i saw a guy change suits 3 times at the 25way vertical challenge, going from an sbird and a weight belt with 6lbs, to an rbird, to a tbird that we finally got the record on. when you flock you have to dive /sink into your slot, its allot easier to fly a smaller suit into your slot than it is to fight against fabric all the way down to a slot. try them both before you buy, btw your arms will thank me if you decide on the smaller suit! ive flown intros, tbirds,raptors,rbirds, sbirds,xbirds,and x2s. and i bought an rbird Flock University FWC / ZFlock B.A.S.E. 1580 Aussie BASE 121

the instructor should always be professional, if you feel you were treated anything less find a new instructor. being relaxed is key, clear minded clear thoughts. you need to be relaxed for when you have a "real" problem that needs correcting immediatly. drama has no place in this sport, especially for someone just learning. its your life save yourself! there are so many I's in this industry you should have no problem finding someone that you click with. and just because you failed a level does not mean you didnt learn anything from it. come down to FL we will treat you right! whatever way you decide to go i would just reccomend a newer style suit, with the "bird" cut, the improved air inlets keep most of the arm pressure on your body. the inlets that are close to your armpits will feel much better than older suits, also go with a small wing like everyone else says. i jump a medium sized suit and have tried some "bigwing" suits and they wore my arms out quick!!! you guys need to remember that if an airprot "opts out" of the tsa then they are opting out of any govt grants and funds. most large airports are under control of the feds, if they need to they are legally allowed to close down an airport completly if they deem it nessiscary. i know most large airports depend on govt grants to expand the airport and for daily operations. i gaurentee airports will not opt out of tsa if it means they loose their govt funding Flock University FWC / ZFlock B.A.S.E. 1580 Aussie BASE 121
