dont even think about titusville, or lake wales for that matter. tandems are their ONLY priority. but they have a very fast king air, no oxygen needed to 18k. sebastian is a real good time, lots of good people, the weekends are busy, but weekdays not so much. if you just want to get as many jumps as possible go to zhills. last week i was there and at 4pm they were on load 55! not to mention load 17 on the heli. they have 4 otters, usually running 3 back to back. i also jump in clewiston, thats a real fun dz, but only 1 otter and 1 cessna, so dont expect to pound out some jumps Flock University FWC / ZFlock B.A.S.E. 1580 Aussie BASE 121

heres a pic of the inside, i just bunched the wire up on the inside of the box. and this box i used 2 layers of carbon, so i used no more than 2'x2' piece of carbon and as far as incorporating the lense into the box, im not a fan, i want to be able to remove the cam from the box w/o removing the lense from the cam. also i dont want the box touching the lense for vibration purposes. (rubber is better) plus the baby death lense has such a small lip on the lense it would be damn near impossible to fit carbon perfectly around the edge of the lense. i personally prefer my lense to take the moisture and keep it out of the box, im of the opinion if you have a gap between the lens and the box you will get air/moisture inside. just my opinion Flock University FWC / ZFlock B.A.S.E. 1580 Aussie BASE 121

hey guys composite envisions sells carbon by the yard for $35.00 thats 36"x50" and you can go to west marine and get a pint of epoxy for $15.00. i dont know why everyone thinks this stuff is gold... and carbon is really easy to work with if u tape the edges before you start. then the carbon dosent fringe on the edges. carbon is pretty stiff stuff even when wet, let the epoxy kick off a little before wrapping it around a radius it will stick allot better. ok here ya go, when i was in high school i was doing some work detail (manual labor) cause i got in trouble. so i was naturally pissed off, i had to dig a footer for a new field house. so shovel in hand im walking back to my homeroom and decide to bash the waterfountain one good time just for the hell of it. well i bashed it, one of the buttons got stuck, cool auto waterfountain, so i get a drink, and put my hands on the fountain like you normally would, then the button i smashed decided to drop back to its normal spot, but my finger was in its way, needless to say it trapped my finger between 2 pieces of sharp metal. just at that time the bell rang. i didnt want to be standing by a broken waterfountain with a shovel next to me with my finger trapped in the fountain so i just jerked it out. fail... 15 stitches later i was back in class! i found a stand that you would use to hang a television on the wall with, (the old style tv not flatscreens) and used the plastic cover that conceals the bolts you use to anchor it to the wall. i used that and cut it down to the size i wanted, then plastic welded it back together, then traced the bottom on a piece of aluminum for the flatlock to attach to. after that i wrapped the top of the mold in carbon and epoxy i let it kick, then popped it off the mold and inserted the aluminum base, then wrapped the bottom in carbon and let it kick. then sand the hell out of it. recoat with epoxy, then dremel the door and holes, attach hinges and bungee. mount the flatlock and drill a hole for the camera screw. hey everyone thanks for all the props on the box!!! i actually had my buddy that worked for action craft boats help me with the surfboard, i got the idea of how carbon and epoxy work together. in all seriousness the box was really pretty easy. just make sure its above 50deg. the hardest part was sanding and lining up the holes for the flatlock. if anyone needs help feel free to pm me. thanks for the props on the surfboard, it was my first attempt and came out amazing!! i am a gulf coaster in fl, so we get really steep beach break, one nose dive and its all over, hence the carbon fiber. as far as trusifarians ruining the beaches in cali come the F on. apparently you havent been to the beach after it rains. the runoff from soil pollution will cause sickness, infection, and all kinds of nastyness. why do they call dreadheads tree huggers? cause they love and respect the earth. how many surfers have you seen walking the beach picking up trash? i know i do every time im headed to the car after a session. i live in florida where our main income is tourists, when do you think the beach is more trashed? in tourist season or when its locals only???? not much of an argument there. most of the pot smokers i know are very earth minded individuals and respect what mother earth has given them. i really wish you pot haters would get your heads out of your asses and open your eyes. my father is recovering from colon cancer, he smokes daily. holds down an telcom engineering job with no problems. he was over chemo'd and got chroins disease from it, the only way he could even smell food without getting sick was from pot. if you have never dealt with this type of situation and have strong feelings against pot then you really need to grow up and expierence life outside of your comfly little bubble that you live in. its a great big wide world out there, whats right for you might not be right for someone else, and whats right for someone else might not be right for u. but thats not your decision to make for someone else! i bought the carbon from composite envisions, its a 2x2 twill 5.7oz, I got the epoxy from resin research. its the 2100 hardness system 21 with slow kick hardner. I had the materials left over from making a carbon fiber surfboard. you can pick up the gelcoat tint at any boat store, they have red, blue, green, yellow, white, and black. i strongly disagree with this statement! you can get yourself into trouble under any canopy, some faster than others. i own a spectre loaded at 1.1/1 and get sub 500' openings all the time, i roll the nose too, just split the nose roll it half to the right half to the left, when you close the tail dont go crazy rolling it up. i also noticed if i give it a "w" fold compared to an "s" fold when putting it into the bag it opens faster. btw i trash pack it every time Flock University FWC / ZFlock B.A.S.E. 1580 Aussie BASE 121
