  1. Call Julio at Liquid Sky. Hands down the best looking jump suit especially for a girl. He really takes the time with the details. You can probably have one in just a few weeks. www.liquidskysports.com Forget about any pre made jump suit. I guarantee you won't be happy.
  2. Remove the catapult and really really watch the "pop top" or whatever it's called. Make sure it stays tight. If there's even just a little gap have your rigger tighten down. You don't want to snag a line underneath it. Other than that it will be fine. I didn't mean to alarm you or anything and I apologize if I did. I went back and read my post and I kind of sounded like a jerk. Sorry for that.
  3. This is some of the best information I've seen on this Forum. Maybe some of you guys would be willing to share some more of you tips.
  4. I'm not convinced a Reflex would be one of the better choices these days. To each his own though.
  5. It will fit and it won't be too small. You will probably have to shorten the closing loop a bit though.
  6. Personally I think your warning should be: "Don't buy used gear" Unless you're willing to risk some problems.
  7. If the guy wearing the camera (apparently flying a right hand pattern) stayed over the the right side of the drop zone it would've left a lot more room for people coming in from the other side. Why hog the whole pattern? Why not leave as much room for others as you possibly can? It's not so much about who's fault it is. It's about keeping your ass alive and safe.
  8. Really? I beg to differ my friend.
  9. A bubble window makes a good pilot better. A good ATC guy should know that.
  10. Check to see that the straps and hardware are clean. I had a new rig that developed a kind of build up in the knurled part (some have this and some don't) of the hardware that didn't allow it to grip like it should. It's possible too that on one of your "not stand up landings" some dirt found it's way in there as well.
  11. I've seen this on other rigs. There are many reasons why the leg straps may slip. Let me ask you this: are every single one of your landings stand up landings?
  12. I've seen a Sabre 2 135 packed in my gf's I-4 and from that I highly doubt a 170 would fit. The manual SAYS it fits a 130-150. She has a Pilot 117 in there now that fits pretty good and isn't loose whatsoever. A 170 would be a very very tight fit.
  13. That's nice that 168 ZPX will fit in an I-3 but what size Smart will fit in there?
  14. The best thing is to call Aerodyne. Sandy knows a lot about the gear they build. I have a Pilot ZPX 168 that packs into an I-43 (made for a 150). I was told the ZPX packs about a size smaller. That seems to be holding true.
  15. damn, you could have googled it for proper spelling.... that's like your boxer 6 was missing 2 sparkplugs... farfegnugen Fuckingroovin
  16. Fayard put 34 peeps per load on our 3300' runway.
  17. Regardless of political association this thread nor others of similar content would not even exist if we had a president that could be trusted.
  18. You forgot about butt. Nothing else matters if there isn't a nice ass.
  19. Valinda, Suzanne has a 2K Composites FF2 that she loves. She gives a little head too. I mean has a little head too.....Ooops. The shell is small and it's really pretty light with the CX100. I think they make an FF3 now that THAT camera fits into nicely and there's a flat spot on the top for a still camera. FWIW I have one too (an FF2, not a little head) and I LOVE it. Check it out: http://www.2kcomposites.com/html/ff2.html Greg
  20. Speaking as a parent my kids will NOT be attending school on Tuesday. It's not so much about trusting the system or the government but about trusting Obama. I'm sorry but the man cannot be trusted. Period.
  21. Sounds to me like you're the angry one kmills What the fuck does a good job and having plenty of money have to do with being angry or not? What a moron. You sound like a 2nd grader arguing at recess. I think the new girl's got some pretty big balls to come on here and defend herself from a bunch of fucking idiots. I say go girl. I wish I knew her. I'd buy her a rig right now cuz I got plenty of money and that would make me happy.......so there...go stick your head in doo doo.
  22. I don't see anything wrong with it either. If you don't like the idea don't give her any money. I think I might do the same thing to get one of these: http://www.landfallnavigation.com/dismast.html Then I can get any rig I want!
  23. I borrowed a rig a few years ago from somebody that was about my same size. What made a difference though is I'm a little more stout in the upper arms and shoulders then he is. When I tightened up the leg straps and stood up straight the reserve popped out to the surprise of all of us. The rip cord cable when he wore the rig stuck out about 2" When I put it on it was about an inch too short. Since then I don't ever borrow or rent gear. I also check on every single jump that there isn't too much or not enough cable sticking out through the handle. Yikes!
