It's winter here in Chicago, and I won't be starting my AFP until spring... so I'm looking for ways to improve my skills in the off season and prepare myself. Would it be beneficial to attend a tunnel camp or something along those lines over the winter, or could it in some way throw off the balance of my AFP training when that time comes?

Haven't bought anything major yet, but I'm planning on buying myself a new exhaust and CF air intake for my car and possibly a CF exhaust for my bike. Then there will be my AFP in spring... haven't figured out what holiday to use as an excuse for that yet

I use a spray bottle to "punish" my Cockatoo, and it's effective with him, but my quaker actually likes getting sprayed, so I have no choice but to basically let him be an asshole

My dog is scared of storms, my Cockatoo when he is out of the cage chasing her across the floor, and small dogs. My Cockatoo is scared of pretty much anything that moves, unless it's a person or my dog. He really freaks out when I have bandages on my hands though. My quaker parrot is scared of balloons. Always wanted a sugar glider... don't have time for any more pets though.

Last night at about 10pm, my car alarm started going off (which is strange since I don't have a panic button and my car was in my closed garage). I went out to investigate... and found a mouse sitting on top of my car in the rear, right outside of the engine compartment. I approached and attempted to swat him off the car, but he climbed into the engine compartment faster than I could get to him. I took the car out and drove the hell out of it, hoping I'd either shake him out or scare him away... but it doesn't seem to have worked. My car alarm went off several more times throughout the night

Using some sort of ridiculously sharp knife to cut a lime, I accidentally got my finger in between the knife and the cutting board. Ended up cutting my "fingerprint" all the way off minus a small thread of skin that was keeping it dangling there. I got dizzy and almost passed out

Another problem I've noticed pretty often on my bike: People who think that driving 2" behind your rear wheel will get them somewhere faster when you're stuck in traffic anyway. What the fuck are they thinking? I've actually had some of them go as far as to beep at me and give me the finger because I was making a right turn and they felt that I was slowing them down or something When I'm in a car and I see someone riding a motorcyclists ass, I'll make an effort to get in between them and back the other person off.

Glad you're ok... I go through that shit in my go-kart sized car and on my motorcycle every day. It seems that the housewives, old men/women, and 16 year old girls are the worst of them. People should really have to do more than back around a corner and drive around the block to prove that they're worthy of a driver's license.

I got fed up with doctors when I went through 6 months of constant tests only for them to tell me at the end of it all "we don't know what's wrong with you.". This all started when I was getting dizzy spells and went to a doctor for them. She looked at my eyes for a bit, asked about my symptoms, and immediately told me "well... it could be a brain tumor". Since then, I haven't been to another doctor.
