  1. It sounds like you know your procedures, and your tunnel time has had to make you comfortable in the air, so it seems like more of a mental block than anything else. Why not find a B or C licensed jumper on your DZ, explain your anxiety, and offer to treat them to a couple of jumps if they'll just go up and hang out with you until deployment time? It may only take a couple to prove to yourself that 'you got this'. Good luck!
  2. I actually stood up my recurrency jump. (....probably be more impressive if I hadn't been jumping a 260 student rig....).
  3. That was a pretty comprehensive answer.....thanks. Good to hear the landing area's a little safer. Even better that the Bytch is back.
  4. You're still supposed to pull, right? Re-taking the FJC tomorrow, then back in the air on Saturday. 'Excited anticipation' doesn't begin to describe it.
  5. Been a while for me too........what does this "Member's total reputation" mean? Even though I don't have a clue, it doesn't surprise me that Remi's is zero. Actually, I heard "Walking On Sunshine" on the radio today, which reminded me of Cheryl, which reminded me of y'all, which reminded me of Rantoul and Raeford and Eloy, etc. etc. etc....
  6. It's all fun and games until someone gets killed by a water bottle. The RichRod / Hoke train has been banished to a remote siding.....time to get back on track. I've got tickets for Harbaugh's first home game against Oregon St. I imagine the atmosphere will be just this side of electric. :) Don "When in doubt I whip it out, I got me a rock-and-roll band. It's a free-for-all."
  7. Thank you for acknowledging. Don "When in doubt I whip it out, I got me a rock-and-roll band. It's a free-for-all."
  8. Looks like Sangiro got rid of the Dropzone.com e-mail accounts just in time ! Thanks HH.
  9. I sympathize with her too. And he looks like he's got at least 10% of her hair volume also.
  10. Beautiful view. (....the background.......not you, homeboy....). Don "When in doubt I whip it out, I got me a rock-and-roll band. It's a free-for-all."

So hard to believe that y'all are 18 already ! Thank you for posting these, and have fun with life. The word 'awesome' is way over-used these days, but it fit your dad to a T. He made a lasting impression on all of us. Don "When in doubt I whip it out, I got me a rock-and-roll band. It's a free-for-all."
  12. Always tried to live by the "Better to be thought a fool, than open one's mouth and remove all doubt" mantra, but I'm intrigued, and most of y'all know I'm a fool anyway. What the fuck is that ??!!? Don "When in doubt I whip it out, I got me a rock-and-roll band. It's a free-for-all."

  14. Sad news. Great college QB and announcer......I think he only lost 4-5 games at Bama. Then he came into the league and gave my Steelers fits. I always dreaded playing him more than Staubach or Griese or Tark. Don "When in doubt I whip it out, I got me a rock-and-roll band. It's a free-for-all."
  15. + 1. Little bit of onion, some chili, 5-6 drops of Tabasco. Ice cold Corona. Repeat. Any meat that's ground and formed contains an 'acceptable' amount of insect parts. You just gotta say 'what the hell.' Don "When in doubt I whip it out, I got me a rock-and-roll band. It's a free-for-all."
