  1. He was not booed by the cast, he was booed by the audience. Should the audience "applegize"? Because I think Trump should "applegize" to the cast and crew of Hamilton for blatantly lying about what happened.
  2. I wouldn't sign a deed without getting paid your fair share of the equity. If they are looking to refinance, that leaves 2 options. You sign off on the new security instrument (mortgage, deed of trust....) of the new loan to acknowledge the new lien or you sign a quit claim deed releasing your interest in exchange for being bought out. If they aren't ready or able to pay you but the refinance will benefit you all, then go with option one which allows them to move forward without you giving up your interest. They can't legally do anything with the property- sell, refinance, etc ... without your input either way. There is no need for this to get personal or emotional unless you let it. Agree on a fair settlement and stick with it. You should not feel guilted into accepting less than what is reasonably owed to you.
  3. No one is "just a whuffo", especially not your wife. I'm sorry for your loss. Time doesn't heal so much as it creates some distance and perspective.
  4. OMG- You're quoting a Goldie Hawn movie from the 60s. Awesome.
  5. If the sun is out, the Otter(s) will be flying. The cabins look pretty decent too.
  6. I don't actually need your mansplaining but thanks. Previous poster was trying to indicate Al Gore did not concede the election. In fact he did although many felt he had legitimate cause to dispute the results.
  7. Al Gore did concede the election in spite of the fact that he actually won the popular vote. Hard to remember that far back, huh? And lets not talk about Florida, Jeb Bush, the hanging chads, voter interference ........
  8. Well, based on the previous debates lets start with what will not happen- 1) fact checking- you're on your own there 2) order, respect or following basic rules of the debate 3) discussion of actual issues Kind of unfortunate ....
  9. Most of us don't file a police report after we've been groped or subjected to an unwanted "pass". That doesn't mean it didn't happen. Besides, he clearly stated during the debate that he never touched a woman inappropriately without consent. He opened the door for all of these women to come forward.

    Pets?

I read it all. He sounds like a great dog. He found his forever home a little late in life but made the most of it.
  11. I honestly believed Trump would never win a single primary and his candidacy was a big joke but here he is. I still don't believe he can win without the votes from women, minorities and educated white males but who knows?
  12. Puhleeze- the Bonfire hasn't been about skydiving for years! And if you're just here to snipe or be rude, I think you belong in the Speaker's Corner.
  13. A UCC is a financing statement usually used in commercial real estate to cover leases and/or fixtures. It doesn't require a signature and back in the day, Sears was notorious for filing them on home appliances without the consumer's knowledge. I don't know if they still do it or not- its been a while since I've seen one on a residential title report.
  14. My guy snored- bad. Really bad. Plus PTSD would sometime cause him to toss and turn. The last few years he wasn't working and I was, so a good night's sleep was important. He'd fall asleep on the couch almost every night and end up coming to bed in the middle of the night after I had already fallen asleep. Once I was asleep, the snoring usually didn't wake me. My friends go to bed together but he gets up in the middle of the night and moves to a day bed which is in their loft. They've been doing that for years and just had their 30 year anniversary so it must be working for them.
  15. A few years ago we went to Sears looking for a new dryer. The sale person was rude, didn't know the products and the sales prices were beyond deceptive. When they started adding in all the misc. fees and charges for delivery set up removing the old appliance, etc ..... you were looking at a price 2-3 hundred more. We walked out and went to the Home Depot down the road. Pleasant, hassle free and no hidden fees. Not to mention, if you finance the appliance Sears will most likely file a UCC against you and they'll "forget" to release it after the loan is paid. That's a big headache when you try to sell or refinance your home and do you really need a lien on a $500 appliance? (I used to do title/escrow closings and saw the UCCs all the time on title searches....) There was a time when they were so bad with their reporting that any negative ratings from Sears on a credit report were automatically disregarded much the same way medical collections are now. Not a fan ...........
  16. Not a day goes by that I don't.
  17. I really need to LOVE a band to pay big arena prices these days and even if you call or get on line as soon as the ticket sales are open the best seats are gone and you're still paying a small fortune for decent to OK seats and way too much for the not so good seats. Last ticket I bought for an arena show I paid about $30.00 in various fees and taxes on top of the face value of the ticket. I did get in on an unexpected presale though and I think my seat will be pretty awesome ............
  18. If it's just the booties you can remove them and have them replaced. I've had riggers repair/ replace my booties and toe loops before. I have a tendency to walk through them ....
  19. So very sorry for your loss. Thank you so much for sharing her with us.
  20. Well, I know nothing about bodybuilding but I always appreciate nice eye candy.
  21. If you have to ask ............
  22. Sure it happens and maybe it wasn't even intentional but it is pretty obvious. Bottom line is they were busted; they should admit it and move on.
