Cool. So now you can strap a camera to your head. You wanna fly video? Spend 100-200 jumps getting to where you don't suck. Gonna get a coach rating? Cool - now spend another 100 jumps learning to fly with students for real, and being aware of what you are doing, what they are doing, and how to debrief them. Now, a couple hundred jumps down the road, put them together. Doing otherwise is gonna shortchange the student on coaching while you are so busy trying to get them on video, you never watched what they actually did. Worst case, learning to fly the camera, you actually endanger the student and also not coach them in the process. Your debrief should not be dependent on the video when you land. You should already have the awareness to know what is gonna be on the video prior to watching it, and the ability to debrief well with out it. To do otherwise does both of you a disservice. You shouldn't be "learning" on paying customers. Not being mean, or attempting to be condescending. To actually answer your question, and not to be a "newb bashing asshole that answers a question you didn't ask" - I'd do the CX150, and actually get a REAL camera setup, sights and all. Then, volunteer to film coach jumps once you get your coach rating, to learn to fly the slot and all. It's a process. Best of luck. /my 0.02 //worth what you paid for it

John, I've known about that, but always wondered how it worked? I mean, if The Prez is cruisin' along at 30K in AF1, how is it that 30Nmi TFR bubble doesn't instanly viloate many folks toolin' along in thier Cessnas and the like (not haulin' dope), down in the weeds, squwaking 1200 and not talking to anyone (and don't have to given they're in the correct airspace)? What am I missing? TFR's follow the President and are usually only active when he is on the ground. When the President went on that bus tour last year (in those brand new million dollar Canadian busses) the TFR followed him in the busses. Usually the TFR circle center will be given as a radial and distance off of VOR's. Yes, I know all of that, but maybe others don't, thanks. But do they enforce the 30Nmi TFR around AF1 while its in flight, is what I was getting at? I am guessing that since he is up in Class A airspace at 30k, there is NO danger from you tooling around in your cessna at 4 grand. All commercial traffic is probably given a wide berth around AF1. My guess at least.

Main Sab2 170 Reserve Raven 181 (I think) Exit weight 250? Hop and pop from 3k. Grabbed a rig with a student Cypres in it. Didn't turn it off. Never made any aggressive inputs. I think it was a 90 that did it. Turns out I got just over firing speed. Landed it with gentle input on the Front canopy. Lesson learned.

TL;DR

Every day I walk into work and laugh about the fact that holy hell, I grew up and actually became a doctor, and actually have to stop being a teenager in my head when I go to work. Those who know me best still laugh when they think of me being serious at work.
