Garmin Announces New Virb X and Virb XE HD Cameras

Yuk - why move away from the sensible form factor to the shite GoPro one? :-(

    POV cameras and Jump number.

Let me start by saying I have no axe to grind (I do wear a camera sometimes but often don't .. as others have said the result is more often boring).. Anyway there is an alternative (or rather an addition) to sucking it up and abiding by your SIM .. and that's to put forward a credible argument and get your SIM changed. (.)Y(.) Low jumpers and Stiletos

I'd re-read her post a few times mate. Consider demoing that reserve, hooked up as a main (if your CCI would even let you jump it!!).. It's really good experience flying a copy of YOUR reserve under ideal conditions. P.S She never flamed you (some here would!!), but I think that you knew that. (.)Y(.) Digital Altimeters and Polarized Sunglasses.

LOL ~ I almost tossed an Ipod a few years back because I didn't know that...thought it was screwed up. Buddy says take off the RayBans Einstein. Bwhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa [choke][splutter] (.)Y(.) Chivalry is not dead; it only sleeps for want of work to do. - Jerome K Jerome
  7. a. What's scummy about it? b. Aren't you passing judgment by calling their actions scummy? a. I didn't say that they WERE doing scummy things, I said sometimes adults DO scummy things.. not the same, not the same at all. b. see a. P.S for clarity - seeing as how you seem to need it .. A scummy thing would be if there were 3rd parties involved but not in the know - i.e cheating etc.. (.)Y(.) Chivalry is not dead; it only sleeps for want of work to do. - Jerome K Jerome
  8. Adults be adults ..... some times they do scummy things but it's their business... they have to live with their actions. So it's not for anyone else to condemn or condone. (.)Y(.) Chivalry is not dead; it only sleeps for want of work to do. - Jerome K Jerome

  13. ANything that isn't easily confused with "tracking" or another established term in the sport. I don't know how "tracing" made any sort of sense in the first place, actually. Probably due to the 'Not invented' here" syndrome. Marco Tiezzi invented Atmo and it's perfectly good term and he's a really great bloke. (.)Y(.) DZ's requiring jumpsuits?

Might be worth finding out if they 'mind' you using that 'uniform' at any other DZ that you might work at. (.)Y(.) Chivalry is not dead; it only sleeps for want of work to do. - Jerome K Jerome

    Opening in High Winds Aloft

How do you KNOW if you are facing into WIND? . There is ONLY one type of wind that a canopy knows about .. but hey, that's all relative (.)Y(.) Chivalry is not dead; it only sleeps for want of work to do. - Jerome K Jerome
