  1. Well, I haven't actually ordered anything from them yet, but I've been talking with Roy for the last couple weeks, getting different price quotes, and asking various questions about reserves & such..... He ALWAYS answers my questions, and most of the time answers the same day. He beat Skycat on the price (but not by much - $200 maybe), so other than that I don't know much about skycat either. So far, they've been very patient with me, and VERY good to deal with. "Pammi's Hemp/Skydiving Jewelry"
  2. Fuck! Everytime we have sex in the hay-barn (had to specify which barn or there'd be even more animal sex accusations) and I fall asleep, she sneaks off to get the camera. Dammit Pam, I'm too modest for this shit, you said you wouldn't post anymore of those pictures....I'm not even going to tell them about the one you posted as a joke in the GLBP&SBA forum (that's Gay, Lesbian, Bi-sexual, Poodle & Sheep Beastiality Association).... some guy name Wall'sBalls is still emailing me. 3. Hmmm.... not as interesting as some, but... in a movie theatre while watching (read: ignoring) "Anywhere but Here." On the steps of a playground slide, and several other places that are fairly norm, various parking lots, dirt roads, sides of the highway.... Oh yeah, & a blow-job while going thru a toll-booth while on the interstate... shoulda seen the guys face - Classic! "Pammi's Hemp/Skydiving Jewelry"
  4. It's all a front guys (Kinda like when you were a little kid & you used to knock the little girls down on the playground that you had a crush on). I talk to Skreamer on a semi-regular basis, I think he knows this Alienangel & has made his attraction more than obvious & has informed me on more than one occasion how "if he were gay...." 5. If you have a manual for the canopy it should tell you how in there, otherwise I'd suggest getting a manual (can usually be downloaded from manufacturer's sites), cuz like Clay said, there's probably 1,432,643 ways to do it.... and, keep in mind that some of the larger canopies (Like mine) have dual brake lines, so you'll be attatching 2 on each side. The best thing to do is check with a rigger, they could probably do it with their eyes closed! "Pammi's Hemp/Skydiving Jewelry"
  6. Speaking of the older Mirage (M1)... does anyone know the pack volume for reserve tray? For instance, if I have a sabre 135 main, what's the largest reserve I can fit into the container without it busting at the seams? "Pammi's Hemp/Skydiving Jewelry"
  7. Well, Pam has a rig like this, it's the M0 (I think), and she absolutely loves it. We contacted Mirage, talked to Bill hallet, about getting the velcro replaced with tucks & he said that they would NOT do that. A good rigging loft might be able to, but he seemed pretty adement about not doing it (fyi: This happened before our little 'spat' with them, so his decision couldn't have been made for personal reasons). I've packed her's and a G3 & other than the riser covers there's not a whole lot of difference, but if you keep up with the maintenence of the velcro it won't cause you any problems, no matter what position you fly in. 8. ROFL - That's cool as shit Michele. My dad used to be Little Joe's (on bonanza) regular stunt double LOOONG before I was born. He was also in several old westerns that I haven't seen either (Silverbullet, fist full of dollars, etc...). He did mostly stunt roles tho, didn't show his face much (don't know why, he's even hotter than me ). "Pammi's Hemp/Skydiving Jewelry"

ROFL - You sent yours in!?!? *snicker* Nerd! J/K man, just because I got mine 5 months ago & still haven't sent it in doesn't make YOU a nerd. lol "Pammi's Hemp/Skydiving Jewelry"
  10. Hmmm Will, I thought the main reason for having a spring loaded pilot-chute on your reserve was to get the fabric into the air as fast as possible. As far as being safer, don't know if I agree with your sheep 'hearding' ass on that one, I thought that was one of the main reasons for people going to throw-outs. In a box-man position there was more of a chance for a spring loaded PC to get caught up in your burble, which was more likely to cause a horseshoe. I don't know if the safe/not safe factor is big enough to measure, but I do feel better (safer) on a throw-out, probably because that's all I know. No, I don't think transitioning from a RC to throw-out is a big deal, there's absolutely something to be said for keeping your head out of your ass. I didn't mean to defend this guy.... no I don't think he's an idiot for holding on to the PC for a few seconds, but he is a complete moron for holding onto i for 15+ seconds & not realizing it even when reaching for his cut-away with the PC still in his hand! I'm sure I speak for Pam as well when I say, "Kris, you suck big, green, ugly animae Ogres!" $12 jumps *whine* Coach jumps *whine*whine* CReW jumps *whine*whine*whine* Good friends *whine*bastardo*whine* btw, I saw somewhere that Ann said you seem intelligent..... *snicker* what load of crap have you been feeding these people?!? "Pammi's Hemp/Skydiving Jewelry"
  12. Exactly Gus.... I would bet that's exactly why this happened, he's just one of you stinkin AFFers who was taught to hold on to that damn ripcord no matter what. I'll bet he never lost a single one. When I first read this post I thought, "What fucking idiot!!" (sorry Mrs. Radloff), but once I thought about it for a second, this happens all the time, maybe not to this extreme, but it does happen. It doesn't make him an idiot, he did exactly what he was trained to do from the very beginning. It's just like any other procedure, once you get it engraved into your mind, it's hard to change. He simply did not prepare long or hard enough for the transfer to a throw-out. This is something that's been debated on here in a lot of detail, That lingering question of whether or not to put students on throw-outs from jump #1. I personally have never pulled a ripcord in freefall (& hope that I never have to), and I think that all other newbies should be able to say the same thing. "Pammi's Hemp/Skydiving Jewelry"
  13. ROFL - Whatever! Some sick fuck from Texas specifically asked if she could find that particular charm to put on a necklace.... wished I knew who it was (didn't leave a first name, but the last name was Lund..Hmmm) "Pammi's Hemp/Skydiving Jewelry"
  14. HAHA!! You like that?!? Well, you'll love it now that Pam has talked me into going ahead & selling it to get that new one!
  15. Well, I got a freefly suit as well, but considering I've only had the opportunity to put 2 jumps on it, I don't know how much help I'll be. Looks, fit, & construction: I love the way it looks, & in my limited experience it seems to be pretty good quality. It's not double layered, but every suit manufacturer that I've talked to, the only reasons they double layer their suits is because it's easier for custom design reasons. The stitching are all reinforced (french seams I think), and the zipper is the most heavy duty zipper I've ever seen.... it seems like a solid suit in my opinion, especially for $154US (which includes shipping), I couldn't have been more pleased with my order so far, & have in fact ordered Pam one for Christmas as well (shhh, don't tell, it's a secret). As far as fit... well, I had Pam do the measurements, she allowed between a 1/4 and ½ inch in the measurements for wearing jeans & warmer clothes underneath, and the suit came to me perfectly. Seriously, it fits me perfectly, looks great, & 'appears' to be a good solid suit... I would be totally comfortable recommending them to anyone. "Pammi's Hemp/Skydiving Jewelry"
  16. I hear ya girl, I've been posting here since just after he put up the old site (the one before this one) & I just barely squeezed in the top 40. LOL QUALITY Biatches!!! "Pammi's Hemp/Skydiving Jewelry"

Naah, just thought the canopy pic wasn't as out of place (you know, in a skydiving forum) as an old motorcross one. ROFL - I thought they specialized in making chics look older... why would I want to do that. then I'd look like you two. "Pammi's Hemp/Skydiving Jewelry"

    hey merrick

ROFL - sucks for you that you know which of the two is worse! "Pammi's Hemp/Skydiving Jewelry"
  19. Yeah, that's a good point.... a lot of times if you can get your orders in when the DZ is ordering Staff rigs or simply get a bunch of people together to put orders in at the same time & save you a ton of $$$ if that's your initial goal. I know Kris saved an insane amount on his brand new Mirage this summer. "Pammi's Hemp/Skydiving Jewelry"
  20. I know that there something to be said for loyalty to your DZ & the people that you know there.... but there's also a lot to be said for saving a bunch of $$$$ too..... I say buy online! I've found some amazing deals online (on rigs, altimeters, dytters, Porn.. you name it). Rigs-N-Things seems to be about the cheepest for new stuff, but if you're buying used, check the used gear sites & classifieds, you can get completely fitted with some cool stuff really cheap!

Bwahahahaha.... Damn right I'm a lesbian! Oh & Justin, "It DOESN'T happen that often, it IS a big deal, and size is VERY important!" Just in case you actually believed her. "Pammi's Hemp/Skydiving Jewelry"
  22. Makes sense to me... Wouldn't that simply be a pilot-chute in tow? There was a guy in Houston while we were there that had at least 2 pilot-chutes in tow (on two seperate jump smart ass ).... Tiny pilot-chute + very tight rig (he was trying to stuff a canopy into a container that was too small for it) = Pilot-chute in tow (read: serious delay in deployment). "Pammi's Hemp/Skydiving Jewelry"

    hey merrick

Naah... I can do it all Justin... "Marathon" enuros, or "Quickie" sprints.... I have total control, just ask Pam! "Pammi's Hemp/Skydiving Jewelry"
  24. Hey dude, just because you couldn't hook, swoop, go headdown, or crank more than one point at 60 jumps doesn't mean that we 60plus jump wonders of present day can't. Get a grip man, some people are just more competent, deal with it... We're the ones that didn't ride the short bus to school. "Pammi's Hemp/Skydiving Jewelry"

Bwahahaha.... Well, when I hit the ground I Quincy I started motioning & yelling for the ground crew at that landing area, "come here, it's broke, it's broke..." I was devistated! They called the ambulance & once they'd arrived I was informed that my leg was broke... I said, "GREAT, now I have that to deal with too! I thought it was only my nail!" Oh BTW: Fuck you guys.... I'm running about 40mph about 30 ft in the air in that new pic! of course, the chic I was racing was about a 1/4 lap ahead of me! LOL "Pammi's Hemp/Skydiving Jewelry"
