You are forgetting (or ignoring) the "obstruction of Congress" charge. Trump has ignored legal Congressional subpoenas. He has directed his staff to do the same. That is a crime. Since the Justice Department has decided that a sitting President cannot be indicted, the only recourse is impeachment. The idea that any American is 'above the law' is abhorrent. The idea that Trump is 'immune from prosecution' is disgusting. Yet Trump has claimed just that. And historically, he has done just that. Sexual assault, tax evasion, fraud of various sorts. As a private citizen, that's really wrong, but not really damaging to the country. For an elected official to be beyond reach of the law, to be immune from prosecution is. It puts us in the 'banana republic' class, where certain people are not held to the same standards as others. The funniest part about it is that this is exactly what the Alt-Right was claiming Obama was going to do.

At this point, that ship has already sailed, as evidenced by other leaders attitude to him.

U.S. nationals don't have that anymore. We had a discussion about that at the World Champs in Gold Coast last year. We're keeping the all-female categories for the time being for two reasons: a) in many countries, women aren't allowed (or are "strongly discouraged") from being so close to men in their teams. This gives the women an opportunity to participate that is culturally acceptable. And b) some countries would (or do) cut women out of the sport entirely. Having a category that requires the team to be all female means that if those countries want to win all the medals, they have to develop and field an all-female team as well.

Given that they impeached Clinton over what really seems like less, and made a point of blocking Obama as much as possible, I disagree. Had they been able to find anything they could have impeached over I’m sure it would have been seen as a coup. Wendy P.

Given that they spit on their Constitutional duty when Obama was President, it's not surprising that they do so now. They've been given multiple opportunities to participate in 'due process'. They chose to ignore the opportunities to present any evidence. They are trying to prevent any testimony by anyone in the Trump administration by stopping witness testimony during the 'trial' in the Senate. The level of corruption being shown by them is disgusting.

Yes, those are indeed the right wing taking points. Maybe think for yourself next time?

No, it's the result of genuine impeachable actions by the president. However, when you have an upper chamber who have directly stated that they will spit on their constitutional duty to act as a check and balance to another branch of government then what do you do with that? The Republicans are moaning about due process? Might as well drag it out until they agree to actually apply some. That takes it into election season? Well, since they've got it why should they be stupid enough not to use it?

No I am inferring that education generally available to US society is piss poor. It leads to government agencies listing Wakanda as a free trade partner.

Spot on. I keep having conversations with my friends when they say, "Compare him to Hillary and what SHE did!" No, you mean what she was accused of doing, was investigated for and found to have not done or was accused of doing and it was so threadbare there wasn't even anything to investigate. In the meantime Trump ACTUALLY did that thing that you said was so horrendous of an act that it's why you said you wouldn't vote for Hillary.

Design one in CAD or actually build one? Wingsuits are complicated, require specialized machinery to make, and are very tedious and time consuming to sew. You're not going to be able to make any worthwhile wingsuit without access to specialized equipment you likely don't have access to. Even with it, you wont know all the techniques and trade secrets to actually cut and sew it together.

Ron, I live in the US because I'm an American, and this is where my family, and my family's property is. I see a lot of problems with unfettered capitalism, in that it feeds economic bullying, and it conflates personal worth with financial worth. And I still don't see where Q has gotten any predictions right; they (or he, or she) seem only to serve to get people to feel as though they are part of a movement, one with an opponent. It might be easier to get people to do something if they have an opponent, but it's not as strengthening. You don't build your strength by making others weaker. Wendy P.

Hi Ken, It seems to me that this is the problem for a lot of folks these days. Jerry Baumchen PS) If one wants the truth, you just have to do your homework.

Even IF it was true, it’s still not why he’s being investigated for impeachment. Didn’t you read my last 2 posts on exactly this subject? The president doesn’t get to try and dig this up by withholding aid during an election. That’s illegal. THAT’S what he’s being impeached for. If Biden has done something illegal or sketchy there are other avenues to investigate it. care to comment?

Well done. You are now officially a part of the problem.

It is to do with asking for a favour. It's to do with asking for a personal benefit in return for state resources. It's not complicated or confusing, it's basic, straightforward and simple. You are being far to charitable to the right and unfair to the media. The media have explained the issue clearly. Almost the entirety of the Republican party have lied about it constantly. Any genuine confusion stems from the utter moral bankruptcy of every elected Republican who has stood up and lied about the proceedings, lied about Ukraine, lied about the witnesses, and lied about anything else they thought might help obfuscate the otherwise clear and obvious case. For the most part the 'base' believe them because they choose to. They're all easily capable of understanding the issue, and would if they hadn't willingly jumped on the 'MSM always lies' bandwagon years ago. That's really their own fault though. They've put partisanship over truth just like the elected branch of the party has put partisanship over patriotic duty. The MSM can't explain anything to people who refuse to listen.
