  1. Personally I like the idea of a national purge. Once a year, for a specified 24-hour period, everyone is fair game and can go after each other to kill as many people as you can. At the end of the 24-hour period you are graded on the quality of your kill count - not quantity. You get a tax write-off for terminating social outcasts such as homeless people, the unemployed, drug attics, dealers and known criminals. You are also rewarded for good kills on the ultra rich and then assume a portion of their assets. Sounds like a good culling program. Can you imagine the tourist revenue it would bring to the host country. I would be all in.
  2. I will try to offer up some thoughtful insight as to why people think you're a troll... I jump at Spaceland Dallas and in my opinion your logic to attempt AFF at another DZ because your tandem jump at Spaceland was "not personable" is flawed and somewhat ridiculous. When you state an allegation of "I suspect illegal drug usage with the rigger."; it is a very inflammatory remark and you then follow your previous statement with, "I also understand that is just a suspicion and I don't perceive it as a fact." This is a public forum and when you make those allegations, you are treading on thin ice both from a standard of being accepted (by the members of this forum) and a standard by which someone can sue your ass for defamation. So your comments are either extremely ignorant or you're an attorney trying to pull some bullshit bait-and-switch routine. You didn't necessarily qualify your statement about the packers and riggers as to whether you were a part of the audience receiving instruction or were merely a passerby. So let's assume you were simply leaning in and listening because you were curious. First, at this juncture in your training you don't know enough to know Jack Shit. As such, anything you heard or may have heard or observed or thought you observed isn't your business until an instructor has provided you with the proper foundation to move on to that next level and says, "Listen to him or her, you need to know this." I wouldn't worry about a packer and a rigger until you get to that point in your training... if you make it. Please, take no offense as I am a skydiver and I am an asshole.
  3. Going out on a limb but you will find the solutions for global warming, rapists and Muslim rapists if you figure out which came first in the chain of evolution; the Man, the Bear or the Pig.
  4. Have you ever had any interaction with someone, anyone, not just military, that ultimately committed suicide?
  5. Similar to those that like to bash gun owners and their rights immediately following a big kill. They're towering over their opponents while the bodies are still warm and laying on the ground.
  6. I'll be happy to start. Raised with motor vehicles in the family, I have pretty much always owned motor vehicles. Nothing more than a car, mini bike, motorcycle, a few fixer uppers for different reasons. I was a registered Republican for a very long time, until after serving in the Army. Biggest reason I wanted out was that while I love the motor vehicle technology I was working with, it served but one purpose, deliver death as rapidly and efficiently as possible. I was also a long standing supporter of the AAA, until they became politicized beyond logic. I've really grown tired of seeing fellow citizens slaughtered over nothing. While I still fully support the individual private ownership of motor vehicles, personally, I think it's past time to have an honest, serious discussion about our current motor vehicle laws that either fail us or are simply ignored. Why do legal motor vehicle owners NOT support expanded background checks? Why do so many people feel the need to own military type trucks? I'm not for banning them but why would we not want to watch that even a little bit closer? What's wrong with tightening the requirements? The Average Joe has no business nor need to own such military truck or heavy grade work truck in my mind. I just don't understand why so many are willing to standby and watch their fellow citizens slaughtered by motor vehicles simply because of hatred and simply shrug it off like it's just a reality show. Flame on bitches.
  7. No. Pretty much any political blogging site with the words, "examiner.com" in it is simply composed of articles written for click bait and political spin. Virtually anyone can be an "examiner.com" writer. It doesn't mean they're journalists. It specifically doesn't mean they have to be accurate or unbiased in any way, shape, or form. Perhaps this will lend a helping hand to the naïve and mentally challenged. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/07/08/journalism-groups-obama-public-information_n_5567428.html http://www.spj.org/news.asp?ref=1253 http://nation.foxnews.com/2014/07/10/censorship-38-journalism-groups-slam-obamas-politically-driven-suppression-news http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2013/10/10/cpj-report-on-obama-press/2960607/
  8. It's laughable when SCOTUS has to tell a President what not to do. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2016/06/23/supreme-court-obama-immigration-undocumented-texas-deportation/83515218/ Why does Obama try to stomp on the Constitution of the United States? http://www.nationalreview.com/article/428882/obama-violate-constitution-top-ten-2015
  9. Nice unbiased source you got there. Is this better? http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/censorship-38-journalism-groups-slam-obamas-politically-driven-suppression-of-news/article/2550647
  10. Ya, he's a bad guy because he tries to control the media unlike our current POTUS. Oh wait... never mind. "So how is it that 38 major journalistic organizations have signed on to a letter to the White House complaining about the way the Administration has twisted and manipulated the news?" http://godfatherpolitics.com/news-media-white-house-stop-manipulating-us/ And how dare that Pence guy not want to permit Middle Eastern refugees in his state when they weren't vetted by the State Department, Homeland Security or ICE.
  11. Borrowing a line from Men In Black 1: "A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals..."
  12. Not sure yet how I feel about this. Would like to know a bit more information, like if simply waiting was an option. Seems a bit like an execution....or drone strike. It was a good kill... why do they need to wait for anything. The shooter didn't wait to see if he had any feelings about shooting the police officers. I love the form of justice used by the Dallas police officers.
  13. Here's a few suggestions... 1) Enact legislation that doesn't allow slimy lawyers and judges to cut back-room deals to reduce charges and sentences with respect to crimes involving firearms. 2) Crush the gangs; gangs are responsible for more than 50% of the crimes with firearms. The CDC and FBI's statistics don't match up but both are north of 50%. 3) Stop using the 2nd Amendment as an agenda item. If you want to tackle a real issue - go after the healthcare industry. According to the Journal of Patient Safety, 440,000 people die each year due to medical malpractice and "mistakes" which is the 3rd leading cause of death. Now compare that to the 11,250 deaths each year that are a result of firearms. 4) According to the CDC and the FBI, homicides and violent crimes have been trending downward for the past 10+ years while gun ownership is at an all-time high. So if you want to start a bullshit argument then it will be easy to crush you with real statistics. You people that want to F*&# with the 2nd Amendment can kiss my backside!
  14. Next time you pull a damn stunt like that you better be contacting me! All kidding aside - beautiful perspective - lucky you.
  15. This is what I use. Very sturdy; has a rubber seal which makes it air tight; has wheels and a grab handle and it's cheap too. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-35-in-Mobile-Job-Box-222167/205053257
  16. The spot was fine but the 4-way belly group wanted a better spot and ruined it for the rest of load.

  20. I thought that protocol was reserved for the "Incidents" forum.
  21. On Saturday a drunken idiot killed people and injure another 40+ people in Stillwater, OK including a TODDLER. Why isn't anyone talking about banning cars or alcohol?
  22. Pope on a rope. Good grief... the dude needs to go back to Italy.
  23. We need to incorporate a program whereby we spay and neuter humans.
