I agree with the point to "entertain" the student with dockings and playing around. But I also have to agree with Phil. The paying costumer (the TM passenger) should be the main subject of the image. Please see the examples (these are only 23mm wide though...) In the shots it's obvious the camera guy is docked (me) and the students are happy while their faces are the main subject not my body parts...

J, Now days does this thing really matter anymore??? I try to help you but I think this storage issue is going away. We have to invest money to our gear no matter what. But the storage became the least problem. I recommend a TB range raid configured external hard drive. and once awhile back up all your files on an optical disc (like bluray... 25GB per disc). The answers to the your specific questions are: My tandem videos are about 6-7 min long. (HQ mode which is abou 8.5 Mb/sec as DSE said already) I hand out about 30-40 stills 600Kb-1.2Mb each (including pre jump group shots...) -Laszlo-

Should people have assault rifles in Kosovo too? Which etnic group should carry them the Serbs or the Albanians? They have a right for the the freedom too don't they? We also train people how to fly parachutes or what to do in a plane emergency. Most of people can put down the right answer on the test form. (like USPA license test) Now go see what happens at the DZ on the busy day, or (I don't wish to anyone) be towards the "end of the line" whith a tandem passenger in the OTTER when verybody is orderd to bail out. People land all kind of directions, wipe out with no reason, those trained people were totally clueless in a plane emergency too. But they all went through TRANING. I'm sure when a 20yrs old "mommy's girl" kid in the class even with "training" would be pretty much cluless in a gun battle... If simply training really would work on people we would never see slow drivers in the left lane, making a turn to the left while pulling to the right (talking about passenger cars), or not using turn signal before changing the lane or making a turn to any direction.... So, I wouldn't trust in that training. Here in FL it only takes a few hours of class (yes. only 2-3 hours!!!) to have a concealed weapon permit. That makes you prepared for a gun battle in the class room... If that trainng would work, then anyone could be in a SWAT too, right?

Man did you really think this statement through??? Imagine if everybody was aremed when that crazy guy ran into the class room and opened fire. By the time when the 5th person would have pulled his/her gun as a deffense the number six guy wouldn't have known in the chaos who was the first "bad guy". The sixth person who would have tried to defend him/her self would have had a very good chance to shoot at the wrong person (for example the 2nd or 3rd person who pulled their guns for deffense). Have you ever been on an airplane when things don't exactly go the way as it planned and you had to bail out??? All those licensed" and "trained" skydivers can do very stupid non sense things very quickly. I know because I've seen it! Now imagine if a whole class of panicing people all of the sudden try to save them selves with guns in the class room. Then we would have talked about real blood bath!!! Look up "the herd effect" in some psychological studies for reference.

We all went through this... strange cropping, unreal colors in the printing, and so on... Not only Strong's calendar, but all publications. My story with this practicular calendar is I allowed them to use my image since they said it will be handed out for free. But they wanted me to sign a full release of the image and grant all rights to Strong Enterprices. Of course I denided that. My image wasn't "destroyed" in this calendar though

Yes, it was one of those more freak accidents... He should have used his HOOK KNIFE to cut that steereing line above that guide ring. I carry two hook knives since I have to use it once too. (differen scenario though) Also (at least in my eyes since I use the exact same gear set up) 3,500 feet deployment altitude is a bit low if you have camera wings/camera gear/X-braced canopy. My hard deck is 4K ut I try to pull even earlier. ...and no packer touches my stuff.

***FWIW, I had a very respected I/E, S&TA and Course Director dispute this second reason. He claims that there has never been a documented case of a spinning-mal/RSL combination getting a jumper hurt or causing a reserve malfunction (causing reserve line twists yes, but these have never resulted in an injury). I just red the new Parachutist (Feb. 2009) incident reports. ...and I remembered this thread. Now there's a documented fafality caused by an RSL. Also see this bulletin by UPT: http://www.uspa.org/USPAMembers/Safety/TheUSPAProfessional/tabid/78/ctl/Detail/mid/1451/xmid/5774/xmfid/42/Default.aspx I still say students should have RSL or Sky Hook. And I recommend them for "average" skydivers as well. I definitelly don't recommend them for high performance canopies, CReW, and camera work. Pull HIGHER, more time to deal with the problem, have an AAD as last chance.

Why is that important to force a 15yrs old girl to keep her baby after she was raped while she was drunk at the party????? Why is that important to force that 15yrs old to give birth and maybe give up her child for adoption??? So she could live with that for the rest of her life? Why is that important, that adopted child one day has to find out he/she is actually a result of a drunken rape??? Is that really supports true life???
