Does anyone know of anywhere in the southeast to learn to ground launch?

Mackeson Triple Stout is one of my favorites, but its always a good day for a Guinness :)

I made a tertiary rig out of an existing harness/container system and just cut the container off of the harness.

I have gotten some erroneous readings while doing true hop and pops(not 5500 feet and 10 sec). Have left at 3000 and deployed right away, maybe 2 sec, and have gotten things like 90 feet for exit and 50 feet for deployment. I have gotten things like this several times. I think its kinda funny and tell everybody they are my BASE jumps

one DZ is always street clothes and goggles, another does jumpsuits,frap hat,goggles and alti. I really like the frap hat,goggles and alti, but not always the jumpsuit esp during hot days(both DZ's in SC), I think freefly pants would be great to protect clothes.

yep, started with the same kit you have I believe,mr beer. I am now starting to get into using grains instead of the cans of malt extracts. I havn't perfected liquid yeast yet. Have made several very good batches and have had a few bad ones. Good luck and keep brewing

try a psycho pack, it tends to be a little smaller than a pro pack,cause you get all the air out. so if sabre 135 fits and the storm is already supposed to pack smaller and then you psycho pack it it should fit. Good luck

as most everyone has said first of all you should leave stable. Hop and pops arent as scary as most people think. However sometimes you do get unstable, and if you happen to pitch while unstable and get the p/c wrapped around your foot/leg/arm what I was taught and teach is to point either the hand/arm or the foot/leg straight up at the sky and it will unwrap. You are falling down and it wants to catch air and slow down, so what happens is it unwraps itself. If it doesnt clear then do your EPs. Hope that helps some, and I am pretty sure someone will yell at me for something that I said wrong somewhere in this post

just my $.02 when I do jump with music wihich isn't often, and only on solo jumps. I only put in one earbud, so I can hear the music and still hear what is going on around me.

does anyone have any pics of pd's removable slider. I am making another slider and have ordered the rings from para concepts and want to see exactly how they are attached. Thanks in advance, and I know this is more of a rigging ? but I figured the people over here would have what I need

here is a removable slider that I made. Was trying to come up with an inexpensive way to have it come off without having to buy others rings. This system worked but..... the webbing that connects the rings seems to be my weak point as it is starting to melt from either friction or heat created from the opening force. I was wondering if anyone has any other ideas. Does anyone have pics of factory made sliders that they would be willing to share

not sure how much diffrent the radical is from the cobalt, I have been told it's the same canopy just with a diffrent name. I jump a 135 radical and have found that for packing the best way is to.... dont roll or seperate the nose, let it hang but shove it all the way to the tail, then roll the tail super tight. On opening dont try to do any heading correction with risers but rather with your legs, not exactly sure why that makes a diffrence but it does seem to help. I usually get between a 900-1200 ft nice soft opening. Hope that helps.

I vote yes, legalize and tax it. Not only would it be good for economy but the enviroment as well. Canabis "eats" more CO2 and creates more oxygen than any other plant, and can be used to make great strong ropes and clothing It's almost the perfect plant and it's illegal

thanks, that is pretty much the plan. I just like to know the little odd things. Also nobody at my dz has a removable slider so I don't have one to compare to and good pics seem to be hard to come by . The only really good one I've seen is by deepseed but I dont like the tape and groomet so I was planning on changing it to a ring and webbing. Overall it seems to be pretty straight forward so it shouldn't to much of a problem.
