Yeah I'm so happy your dog is feeling better. My beautiful precious angel Jospehine had the same thing. It was so awful to see her so sick. But she pulled through. At the time, I was told (over & over & over) to cross my arms over my chest, look up (or something like that) and bend my knees! All of which I forgot because I was so SCARED OUT OF MY MIND! When I did my first tandem I was SCARED OUT OF MY MIND! I made the TM repeat and repeat and repeat what I was suppose to do! Then when we got to the door, which we were the first out, I forgot everything he said because I was literally hanging out of the plane and SCARED OUT OF MY MIND! So, believe me you'll be scared! And then, you'll watch your DVD over and over and over again and skydiving will be the only thing you think about. I wrote this in myspace blog: Skyfest 07 Current mood: cheerful Category: Sports My first Skyfest boogie couldn't have been more perfect! I jumped from the Skyvan 3 times (!!) with George, Caroline, Pier, Kara & RD and I jumped from the Super Otter 2 times (!!) with George, Caroline, Angelee and Shari! My hubby found a Vector container in great shape with all the pieces at a G-R-E-A-T price and it fits me! I've sent it to Relative Workshop for inspection, adding a skyhook and changing the leg straps to the comfy cushy kind! I met new people and made friends with 2 AWESOME (and I might add HOT) FastTrax men, Isaiah and Scott. Those guys are so COOL and NICE and PROFESSIONAL and I know you can't get any better than that! I plan to do a canopy jump with Isaiah the next time our paths cross. FOR SURE! I must say I am proud of myself for going and jumping. It was a bit intimidating but I kept my wits about me and had a VERY FUN time! I watched, I listened, I learned and I came home with a little more confidence in my skydiving abilities. That's pretty cool huh? I got several "way to go" comments from my skydiver friends. Skyfest is FUN and I can't wait to go to Muskogee next year! Blue Skies! I only have 57 jumps and can't wait! I've been practicing my landings, as in picking where I'm gonna land and landing there. The only thing that makes me nervous is all the people that'll be in the sky at the same time. I'm not use to that. Any hints on how to get over that? I LOVE FLYING MY CANOPY! It's what I live for! Really! As soon as I pull my pilot chute out, the skydive begins for me. I humor my friends and do the 2, 3 & 4 ways with them. But to me that is work and the canopy is my fun! I love to practice flat turns and do spirals. I love to look at the land and the clouds and the other canopies. I hope one day a hawk will fly with me! HA! It just makes me smile! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!
