I LOVE MY PILOT! It's a 168 and she's a beauty! She gets me home from long spots, she opens quickly and softly and on heading, she's a blast to fly too. I whole heartedly recommend The Pilot for any skill level.

Wow! This is wonderful to read. I wish all dzo's thought like you! I was lucky to have a good friend take me through my coach jumps and at her own cost I might add. Thank You Kara! I don't know how to make your Jump Buddy program a global one but it sure is needed. Thank You for taking a big step and absorbing the expense to promote MENTORING Students! I know you will be successful in developing many skillful and knowledgeable fun jumpers who will then in turn become Coaches and Instructors. :1:? I'm not sure if I owe or not. Did my 2nd head down attempt which was "interesting" then ended up on my back spinning rapidly out of control!! Only by the grace of God I got back on my belly in time to pull! Flew a perfect landing pattern and stood up my landing but my knees sure were wobbly for quite awhile! The exit we did, I might add, was totally AWESOME!

No worries. I completely understand about the landing area. I was very intimidated and scared out of my mind at Temple's. I even made my BFF go with me to hold my hand and to follow down! :) After that I was fine. :) Glad you are coming back to the sport and I hope to meet you one day! I felt the exact same way. When it closed, I was heart broken and depressed for weeks! Really! I even put my canopy up for sale! I decided to pick up my tennis racquet again and forget all about skydiving. But then I experienced a moment of clarity and decided to to go back to what I wanted to do from the very beginning, fly my canopy, and who better to learn from than Wendy at Temple! You know, I made some really great friends at Capitol. When it closed we all scattered into the wind and then somehow we all ended up at Temple! Hummmmmmmmmmmm Just a side note: I have to say I find it interesting you sent your rig to Temple but want to do your recurrency at SSM. OMG I'm not even going there. But for sure the jump tickets are $22, there is free Shiner Bock on tap, the Cafe Is Open for lunch, we have dinner specials every Saturday night and a bonfire. There are many fun, extremely awesome skydivers jumping at Temple and we have one of the fastest (and I might add Pristine) Otters around (from Chicagoland).
