Place the beer in the fridge by no later than 5:00 on Friday. I will be there. If you don't mind, I prefer it iced down in a big cooler right outside the packing room. A couple of sliced lemons placed on top of the ice in tupperware would be absolutely wonderful. At sunset load, please put 1 or two in my equipment bag so I can have a couple for later. Want to thank the folks at SDH for organizing the 4 way scrambles meet that was held at Aggieland. Wow, what a fun group of people (SDH and Aggieland)!! Took my first ride on a Caravan, got sucked out the door 4 times and it was fu-un. Aggie Dave, Morgan, Todd & Family, and all the DZ folks where so hospitable and made sure all of us had accomodations, as well. It was a mini-boogie....two maggots got their SCR's after the scrambles. The ceremony was absolutely hilarious and looked very painful. I felt so bad pouring on them....okay, maybe not. One of the vic's didn't bring spare clothes and wore his freefly suit on his streetbike for his ride home. It looked really funny with riding boots...... The beer flowed endlessly from the Aggieland kegs, and stash from the SCRs, and "firsts." Look forward to seeing all of you again soon and at SKYFEST!!!!! (P.S. My truck still smells like a hill country bonfire!!!) Blue 'uns

Good lord. What has this come to? I didn't mentor or do anything special. We stood in the door, fell out and flailed together!!! It was so much fun, we laughed all the way down. At my jump numbers, I'm still a newbie..so, really there wasn't much to learn - just a little creativity getting out of the door, and planning a safe break off for the 2 or 3 of us. I was going to stay out of this - but Spaceland is full of folks who jump with us newbs....when they aren't training, “darn near” anyone will jump with you. When they are training, that's when its pretty tough!! My hat's off to those who have helped me through my journey I would list them, but I think I would have to account for almost everyone at the DZ!! Thanks guys!!
