  3. http://www.sspline.com Interpolation means no, it doesn't matter. You can do this in Photoshop or use a program such as the one above. I have a D70s but I also have a D1H NIkon that cost me $5400 in 2002. It is only 2.74MP and I have printed stuff to 11x14 and bigger no problemo. Just remember to turn the "in camera" sharpening OFF! All that should be done post shoot anyway. The pic attached was printed 11x14 after being cropped. Original was 4x6@ 300dpi but I used an action in PS to interpolate it up to 11x14@ 300dpi and it printed nice and crisp. Yo SabreDave
  4. That sounds crazy......................... Is this something they teach everywhere these days? You could do half of a style set from 1,000 feet SabreDave
  5. Anyone use these kind of services before? I took a quick look around and I know they say unlimited backup but is it really unlimited?? I have over a TerraByte of video and pictures alone and would love this service for $50 a year! SabreDave
  6. And gear manufacturers and places that allow it legally and................... guys who tell really good stories about the good'ol days!?? And.............. It's not going away, it is only going to get worse so why worry about it?!? Even in my lonely part of the world there has been a BIG increase in jumpers, a huge increase in people wanting to get into it and the years of experience in related sports dropping rapidly amongst these people compared to even 6 years ago. For 1st BASE

I just happen to have a picture of that hypothetical, technical "S" Tom Just that it's 280 ft. SabreDave
  8. If you "know" he won't why keep asking? If every good piece of writing or advice was sticky, the first couple of pages coule easily be full of sticky shit. Relax..............it really doesn't need to be a sticky. SabreDave
  9. You forgot "Ballsy/Kinda Dumb/But Fuckin'Eh" If it was pulled stealthy. I'll Assume stealthy? NIce work A-............ SabreDave
  10. Yes, I had figured the sarcasm part out. Guess I forgot to put one by the electric fence comment I made!?!? The fence comment was the ONLY sarcastic part of it, the rest is fact. Please fasten your seatbelts................................... SabreDave

Possibly because they don't know who you are, or how to contact you? There may be a lot of jumpers out there who simply have never heard of this forum. Not smart enough to use the internet for research?!?! Even if they don't know about this forum or the others it would take very little to find them. Seems to me that if they are too lazy and stupid to find the info they should have, then they are likely too stupid to survive BASE. On another note......... you are not trying to say that body armour is a bad thing are you Robi? SabreDave
  12. Way too many stupid "kids" in BASE already, IMHO. Let's replace the velcro with some electric fencing for motivation. SabreDave
  13. Why go all the way up there when some of us have 3,000-6,000 foot virgins just a few hours from home? They require the kind of access you would appreciate Lee. SabreDave
  14. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1532537 Is a good start. If you search the forums you will find some of what you are looking for. SabreDave
  15. I had a friend in third grade whose grandfather had been a missionary with some cannibal tribes in Borneo or someplace like that. Apparently people taste like pork. These days, Americans probably taste like bacon Wendy W. MMMMMMMMMMMM.........Bacon! SabreDave
  16. More intelligent prose from 1072! Once again, I am stunned at the wisdom and eloquence of your words but let me ask you, what kind of "brake" would you like?!?! Would you like a disc brake or a drum brake? Deep brake or shallow brake? Maybe a Jake Brake is what you are after? There is break chord (cord in U.S.) and there are brake lines so before you go slamming shit that you don’t have to read please learn to communicate in proper English. Thanks in advance P.S.- I think you meant "no one" but I could be wrong. SabreDave
  17. Nice work guys!!!! Congrats Must have been rough landings around 15,000ft.ASL! SabreDave
  18. I would say that was exaggerated, but he did intentionally wait to clear the crowsnest before deploying, so I guess it's all relative. Maybe Lonnie can comment. I can't remember if the rollover was a second jump or not. Maybe SabreDave remembers. Just keep that site lowkey OK...it's a good one.

  22. IMHO.... too low. Have witnessed TARDS from this altitude, probably a better choice. 587? Crwper? SabreDave
  23. My rig is a bit tight without the armour and I didn't notice a big difference with the armour on. PC reach seemed ok. As for lips and snags etc., yeah, I put a jacket or long sleeve shirt over the armour. SabreDave
  24. I was also pretty underwhelmed with the Six Six One. I did like the Fox Racing jacket, which I think actually had slightly better spine protection than my Dianese. I have only jumped with the 6-6-1 pressure jacket as upper body armour. I bought it because I had no extra cash at the time and the jacket wasn't in the stores computer system so they gave it to me for $125 Cdn (reg. $300). Although there may be better I like the way it fits, feels and how my back felt after going into the rocks back first after my first tree strike! No visible damage to the plastic. Happened to be the first jump I ever wore it on. http://tinyurl.com/ybtzyo Again, maybe there are better out there but I like the Knee pad/brace in one since I am missing alot of cartilage in both knees.
