  1. Thanks for showing me my first down plane! I never laughed so hard. (The photo isn't of the down plane, but it was part of the set up) Looking forward to meeting at our next exit.

    Wind Turbines

    1) Yes, absolutely right. 2) Wind turbines are driven by the wind, not "started from somewhere else" that would be a motor. Be well :) Looking forward to meeting at our next exit.
  3. haha, no worries man. I don't care about the flaming. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, regardless of how wrong they may be. This entire poll was based on comments made in the other poll I started. I happen to agree with a LOT of what you've said in the other posting. I just didn't want people to start the same BS again...with absolutely no point or basis... Looking forward to meeting at our next exit.
  4. Before the flaming starts, this is all in good spirit. Looking forward to meeting at our next exit.
  5. I never claimed to be one of the jumpers. As for why, I would have to ask the person that did pack there. I would hazard to guess that a vacant building is more spacious than an apartment. Other than that... bragging rights? Its different? Novelty? Just cuz? Looking forward to meeting at our next exit.
  6. Now I like YOUR thinking! Its a sweet object! I'll keep you posted Looking forward to meeting at our next exit.
  7. So, here is the story: Two guys planned on a double header, two jumps in one night. The first was easy, climb a freestanding A, PCA exit, gravy landing. They grabbed a couple tarps and entered a B that is under construction and has very minimal security. After hiking up a couple floors, set up the tarps on the dusty floor and packed their rigs. When done, folded up the tarps and set them with miscellaneous construction materials, and finished the climb up. It was an excellent adventure over all. How do you rate the choice to pack in the B? Looking forward to meeting at our next exit.
  8. The only (local) thing that I can think of that comes close to positive; is a benefit for children at the Perrine. Mushrooms are illegal? Looking forward to meeting at our next exit.
  9. Congrats! Looking forward to meeting at our next exit.
  10. ...that's a looooong count... Looking forward to meeting at our next exit.
  11. Haha, let me guess what you want to try next time. Looking forward to meeting at our next exit.
  12. Heading in to the ol' Sin City Dec 10-13. I hadn't planned on bringing gear originally, but I am curious if there is something worth checking out? Drop me a PM if you can. Thanks =) Looking forward to meeting at our next exit.
  13. Lyal has agreed to ask at the Christmas party; however, I would like to ask around because some will not be at the party. See you in Jan Looking forward to meeting at our next exit.
  14. I would like to start this post and provide a way for people flying and driving down to organize their gear. I myself am looking for someone that is driving down, that has room for some of my gear. Looking forward to meeting at our next exit.
  15. I'm heading to Eloy, Arizona Jan 6-21. Is there much in the area for jumping? I'd be interested in chatting with locals and meeting up for some jumping. Please PM me. Looking forward to meeting at our next exit.
