I jump regularly in the midweat and occasionally in Colorado - there is a HUGE difference between the two. My Sabre 135 in Colorado "seems" like my Stilletto 135 at sea level in the midwest for the first few jumps back... -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --

LOL amen to that. Also - Tree - I respect most of what you say - but I know a couple of BTeamers, and they are very intelligent people that I personally would have no issue learning base from. They respect the base world and the underlying ethics rather nicely - not burning sites, integrating with the current locale of base'ers. I've never heard anything but good about those folks... That and one of em sold me a beautiful rig ;-) -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --

Does the Sabre 2 (NOT SABRE 1) have a safety problem on openings?

"He packed the same for the previous 600 jumps" So did I, but in all honesty, each pack job is just a tad bit different regardless of the consistency of the packer. -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." -- -
Don't feel like an idiot - some people claim Photoshop is one of the most ingenious applications ever built. It is expansive - so many things that one can learn. You can be a web developer or a darkroom old hat and make use of the app. PS - just get a using pShop tutorial book and you'll be up and running in one or two weekends for sure. Fireworks is definately a nice and useful app, but I think Pshop is still better for ALL of your image manipulation needs... imho of couse... -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --

I swear I wish I had this much time to post. Life would be oh so grand. -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --

"You'd feel pretty stupid about saving all that money on your canopy when you're in traction and fiending for painkillers." I need to add this to my signature - one of the best quotes I've heard (read) in a long long time. -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --

Heck by the time I'm trying to control my opening under my sabre, its open -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --

Also I find the looser I stay during my openings, the less sore I am after a given weekend... -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --

Side mounted. Been jumping the camera and the canopy for almost 8 years now without issue. Granted my Sabre gives me an occasional whopper, but I've never had more than a day of a sore neck from jumping. My sabre opens better than most other Sabres I've flown btw... By shit camera setup I mean I have an L bracket on the left side of my helmet. Snag points galore. Again knock on wood, but I have yet to snag in 600+ jumps on the system... -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --

I smell my right armpit to get my shit camera setup as far away from riser action as possible... Knock on wood, haven't had any issues yet... -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --

Ouch - glad to hear you are aight pk... I've seen one lineover with a tailgate in use as well, granted, this was close to 4 years ago. The jumper had 400+ in multiple enviros. That was one of the reasons I don't base to be honest with you. Perfect launch, perfect dump position, watched the guy pack - super anal packer, gets made fun of all the time, STILL had a nice line over until 3-4 seconds prior to landing... Nooooooo thank you... -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --

I did at 100 and have never gotten myself into a bad situation. That was 800 jumps ago and 7 years ago. -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --

Did I mention I'm old That's what happens when old guy gets heavy on the front break lol... -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --

Ouch - I hear yah... I just flew 20 feet plus and 8 feet down whilst attempting to mountain bike a gnarly section of my home trail. I had time to think, okay, this is going to hurt - oh wait, lower shoulder, roll out of it, stand up, sweeeeet... Slow motion rocks when utilized correctly (-: -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --

So much truth in that - thats a huge aspect of sports psychology. When I finally learned to remain calm in high tension situations I stopped hurting myself as much bailing off my mountain bike ;-) I was able to play positions in sports that normally freaked me out because of the pressure... -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --

Cool cat for sure. A very giving individual at so many levels. -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --

Even using premiere I'll bet I could bust out a student or tandem using a prefab edit line rather quickly. 20 minutes or so... -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --

Yah but I can upgrade my home tower for a very long time in essence saving a ton of money. PCs are cheap nowadays, AND fun... Don't get me wrong, when I edited professionally, I used Apple's and turnkey systems as well, and if I could really have it my way, I'd have a G5 and a PC at home... -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --

Powerful PC, just as good as an apple and you can play games on it. Hell all I have is a Pentium 3 1000 mhz, 1 gig o ram, a pretty nice graphics card and 200 gig of HD space and I use Photoshop and Premiere with no complaints. As for wants, more speed, more memory, etc... Those desires never go away tho... It works great for me AND I can game it up when the need calls. -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --
