    Spotting calculator

I have used DJ's programs for about 8 years now and I recomend them. The spotting calculator that he has been developing and tweaking would do well at most DZs now days,, since most DZ planes use GPS to release the jumpers and the majority of people that jump at bigger aircraft DZs have NO CLUE how to spot. He'll most never even look down when the GREEN light comes on!!!!! The simplicity of the program and the VISUAL aspect is one he'll of a teaching aid all in itself!!!! 4. Damage or not, you received something that was different from what you ordered,,,,, you deserve a refund. It doesn't matter if customs cut the thing to shreds,,, IT'S NOT WHAT YOU ORDERED!!!!!!!! As far as posting things like this in an open forum, I'M ALL FOR IT. We as consumers are able to buy goods all over the world, thanks to the internet. And If you get screwed the "OPEN FORUM" might be the only way to receive compensation as well as save someone else the hassle of a bad deal. Comments on these body positions(picture)

First off,,Hell yeah man congratulations!!!!! I have taken several paralized people Tandem but none continued further. Now to your question. Yes I think based on the video, the placement of your leg straps seem further down your leg. Therefore restricting the wind from aiding you in your arch and therefore keeping your knees down . Also it looks as if you tried different arm positions rather than straight out above your head you might have been able to compensate for some of the rocking motion you had going on. Just remember that your body works on 2 halves from the pelvis. If any half is moved from the standard NEUTRAL POSITION you will need to move the other half to compensate, so that you remain in a NEUTRAL POSITION,,,free from movement. All I can say is that along your way you will get the feeling for what works for you in situations. Keep up the good work!!!!

    Safety BSR: Minimum LZ Size...

My post AGAIN was in response to SKWRL. Since you didn't read it clearly he asked about the D license landing area applying to Tandems. Your post about safety and ambulances has nothing to do with my post on the regulation. Of course I know that just because we are legally able to do lots of things doesn't always make it smart. Safety BSR: Minimum LZ Size...

I know that hence the TI/E designation on my license. The original poster asked if there were limits on the landing area for tandems,,,,so I responded accordingly. I know that safety is always a factor in any determination in your landing area but that wasn't the question in the thread,,,,the regulation was. What are you talking about??? USPA says that a D-Licensed holders landing area can be unlimited from the restrictions of other license. So there for you are allowed to land as close to an obstacle as you see fit. SONIC BEEF #1 BASE 708, NC BASE 3 SLI,IADI,AFFI.TIE.FAA Rigger, Single & Multi Commercial Pilot,CFI, CFII, MEI

    Safety BSR: Minimum LZ Size...

The Tandem Instructor is a "D" licensed "Parachutist In Command" of the tandem,,,so the landing area is NOT Specified. Or should I say, Unrestricted. SONIC BEEF #1 BASE 708, NC BASE 3 SLI,IADI,AFFI.TIE.FAA Rigger, Single & Multi Commercial Pilot,CFI, CFII, MEI

    Should I comply?

First Off I have known this DZO for about 15 years, he's a good friend of mine. Fred if you were packing at my DZ as a proffesional packer, and had your head up your ass and packed a MAL you would pay as well. As a professional no matter what you are doing you should be responsible for your actions. Fred you asked me in private messages why I havent been out in a while? The answer is that I currently manage an airport and a DZ in the Eastern Part of the state and I dont have time to get away. Matter of fact HE spent about 4 days at my house last week. So dont go insinuating that I left for any other reason than that. The DZO makes all the rules! Its not a democracy! so if you dont the rules leave, its as easy as that. Why would you come on this web page whimpering and making it look as if you were a new student that has been taken advantage of, This is a far stretch from the trueth. After the shit storm you stirred up, dont be supprised if your DZ'S you visit are limited. SEE YA!
