A Missouri cop was shot after responding to a call, and in Bristol, TN a black gunman started shooting at cars on a highway and at a motel before police arrived to confront him and he opened fire on them, who then returned fire and wounded him, but not before he killed one motorist and wounded a few others, including one of the responding cops. I think A LOT of people, especially in the black community, thought that race relations would improve with a black president. However, it seems that things have only gotten worse, or at least that seems to be the general perspective. We seem to be heading in a more divisive direction than a unifying one... Obama hasn't exactly helped matters with some of the statements he has made over the years.
