1 pointYeah, seriously. The owner of the National Enquirer is a friend of Trumps, and they have worked together to bury sex stories about him. The play is, the National Enquirer approaches women with dirt on Trump and offers them a bunch of cash for their story. The catch is that the Enquirer has no intention of ever publishing, and the cash is for exclusive rights meaning the women are contractually forbidden from talking to any other media outlet. They are effectively silenced. This was all gone over during the '16 election and is 100% true and verified. So again, yeah. Trump and the National Enquirer. Seriously.

1 pointFIFY Why is it that trump supporters never state the positive things trump[p is doing on a daily basis?
-
1 pointNo, hate him or not, his mistakes have resulted in 70,000 dead, and a very deep economic recession. Hating him or loving him doesn't change how monumental that is. If you're letting your feelings toward him dictate what "monumental" is, you're the one who's biased.

1 pointAnybody catch the Trump interview on ABC? How do people keep seeing leadership qualities in this guy?

1 pointStrom Thurmond was a senator with a long (very long) career, from South Carolina, starting in the 1930's. Of course he was racist, and a segregationist. He wouldn't have been elected without that, and he never renounced it, although he did start hiring minorities for his office in 1971. He did good things, as do at times pretty much all racists and segregationists, even now. But the context is very different, being a hard-over racist now, and one in the 1930's South Carolina. It's bigger now. And I think it was Byrd who was recently defended; he was also a racist and segregationist (at least until he vocally and specifically renounced it), this time from W. Va. Wendy P.

1 pointThat's been very clear for a very long time. Why do you think so few people actually respond?

1 pointI'm curious - is there actually any other point to this post except to be cover for you to throw a blanket insult at everyone here you disagree with? And "preponderance" does not mean what you think it means, by the way.
-
1 pointThe phrase is "too stupid to argue with".

1 pointAnd they was usin' up all kinds of cop equipment that they had hangin' around the Police Officer Station.

1 pointnpole, I purchased a VOG which speaks the current altitude to you. The only thing I don't like is the price and poor packaging it came in. For AFF-I purposes, I just wanted the altitude announced so I could focus on my instructor duties. It does that. Personally I don't care about all the other features offered by most audible manufacturers.

1 pointi don't have to as i don't hold any. mine is 60 days, and i am good til tomorrow. b license is 90, and that is all i need until i get a c, then possibly a coach rating just to help others learn. i presume i will look them up as i need to know them. didn't you and i have a series of pms where you enlightened me? i didn't pay a lot of attention as you were trying to convince me that safety isn't necessarily safe since the standards don't really enforce safety. from what you said, they aren't that great, but as i said, that's what they are and we should change them to make them safe, not ignore the ones we have. i have seen people die when ignoring safety procedures. have you ever seen a man after a 15'x30' concrete form falls on him? it ain't pretty, but he insisted he had done the job 1000 times like that. 1001 was the one that got him. now, if you think the rules are no good, what is your suggestion to replace them? or are you just complaining? show me an actual alternative and if it makes sense, i will help get it adopted.

1 pointGive me a fucking break. After the 8 years of "make sure nothing he does gets any cooperation" as the publicly stated goal of the Republican senate, you really think that's going to happen? This wasn't a case of "they don't suggest anything we can work with," it was a case of "no matter what they suggest we're against it." And McConnell has promised more of the same if a Democrat is elected this year. Wendy P.
