The idea that ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL basically says that no one is above the law. The DOJ policy that an unimpeached President cannot be indicted is abhorrent. There are quite a few high ranking government folks that have gone to prison (State Governors, Congressional Representatives, ect). Pretending that the President is different is just flat out wrong. Bunga Bunga Berlusconi was the full equal in corruption, underage sex, prostitutes, etc. He used the legal system just like trump does. He died yesterday, a three time corrupt leader. Italy is going to give him a full state funeral. What a joke. Holding up politicians like Berlusconi and trump in any sort of honorific position is disgusting. Berlusconi, a conservative, polarized voters yet he created a base, like trump that loved him.

Here is a quote from a NPR story 2009. ""A culture of illegality has taken hold. We no longer have an ethical role model. We no longer want to follow the rules and respect the law and the constitution. We are in disarray, and we have given up. We have lost sight of our basic civil rights," Patarca says. Berlusconi is fond of saying, "Italians like me the way I am." Through two decades of TV dominance, many analysts say he has, in fact, reshaped Italian culture and values into his own image." Berlusconi was a billionaire media baron who controlled all the major TV stations. Like trump-FOX viewers, Putin and RTV, his base never got news of his corruption. Under CIPA prosecutors have a right for immediate appeal to 11th Circuit to maintain a speedy trial. CIPA is the law that governs how trial judges are to deal with cases involving classified materials. However, I am not sure of an adverse Corcoran ruling would fall under CIPA. However, the Corcoran issue was already rule don by the 11th Circuit and I am not sure if there is even an ability for AC to rule on it again.
JerryBaumchen 1,048 #66 August 10, 2023 Hi folks, The first GOP debate is two weeks away. I got looking into it & found this nugget: and sign a pledge agreeing to support the eventual party nominee. When is first Republican debate? Date, participants in primary event (usatoday.com) Since he is known for his lies, do you think he [ Trump ] would support any other candidate, if he does not get the nomination? IMO he will just cry rigged election, I was robbed, etc. Lots to pick from. Jerry Baumchen

No way in hell Trump can NOT violate the coming rules from the judge. "Call from an inmate at the Federal Prison institution. Phil1111 911 #74 August 28, 2023 The debate laid bare exactly how radical the GOP has become. Mr. Ramaswamy currently in third place in the GOP polling had this to say: He is going to shut down the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Internal Revenue Service and the Education Department. Mr. Ramaswamy said that if elected he would stop all U.S. funding to help Ukraine fight back against Russia. “I have a news flash,” he told Mr. Pence. “The U.S.S.R. does not exist anymore. It fell back in 1990.” Both he and DeSantis have gone all anit-WOKE and the GOP base loves it.
