  1. Re: [Sangi] FIRST CAMERA AND EDITED VIDEO [In reply to] Quote | Reply -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In Reply To -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It seems that the skydiving community likes to judge everyone absolutely the same regardless.. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yeah, yeah, now tell us about your Mad Skilzz. I'll tell you how all skydivers are judged, Sangi. They are judged by the laws of physics. The old, the new, the cool and uncool, on a bad day, they all hit the ground at the same speed, with pretty much the same results. As for me, I know how to take care of myself. Judging by your shitty attitude and your moronic writing on this site, you do not. I am always happy to instruct and advise anyone who has a good attitude toward learning about skydiving. You seem to have a hatred of all who have put in the time and effort to learn about this sport and how to survive it, simply because you have not. So, as far as advising you, I could not care less if you ever learn a single thing. You are a textbook example of a DGIT (Dead Guy In Training). There is a crater waiting somewhere with your name on it, and dude, when you fill it, all that will mean to me is that I won't have to read your silly shit around here anymore. See the sig line below? You don't even fucking qualify. Kevin Keenan Florida, USA -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- _____________________________________ Dude, you are so awesome... Can I be on your ash jump ? QuoteFrom an earlier thread. Couldn't have said it better This is the paradox of skydiving. We do something very dangerous, expose ourselves to a totally unnecesary risk, and then spend our time trying to make it safer.
  2. Of the three of us; Sangi learned his lesson (I hope) the hard way and I have learned in a less hard way (but it still took too long). Virgin-Burner, it seems, is now the last of the three "cool kids" who is still pushing the envelope and refusing to hear what others are telling him. Maybe I have forfeited my right to preach on this subject given my previous posts, I am not sure. Or maybe Sangi and I are just the right people to speak up on this having been "that guy". 3. What's also ironic is that you're commenting on anything having to do with this topic. Like it or not, you've positioned yourself in the same group as Sangi or VB. Read all the posts about Sangi post-accident, and replace his name with yours. That's exactly what it's going to look like if you follow suit. You should only hope for a friend and cheerleader like VB to stand up for you while you literally cannot stand up. Dave, a while ago Docpop posted that he learned his lesson and had up sized (my paraphrase) I don't know what happened to cause the change of heart but his posting style changed at the same time as he up-sized. Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived.

  5. I have a friend, jumps at other DZ than mine. Young, very similar mindset to Sangi`s (at least dz.com Sangi). 200 jumps. He wants to buy my old Xfire 129 which he would be loading about 1.6... What can I say? dudeist skydiver #42
  6. Just so we're clear, Sangi needs his own Incidents thread - just as people have been saying would would happen for about a year. Who won the bounce bingo? Lest some of you think I'm heartless, I'm pretty certain that Sangi won't learn from this - maybe some other upcoming Skygod will.
  7. Yes you are ll talking about me. However mark my words, I will not leave anyone in the lurch. I wouldn't be able to live with myself doin that. I currently have three potential people trying to help me with my problems and I will prevail. Sure, the easy option is to just declare bankruptcy and everyone lose out, these sort of threads kind of force that option upon me really, but I would die before I did that to a skydiver. Sangi, you only tell half your story a every other post where you moan about people. Don't forget how you 'needed' me to ship your canopy undervalued to get out if taxes, only for your canopy to be returned to me twice now and then you even asked me to delay shipping it for a further two months ao you could save to pay the taxes. Your canopy is sittin her right next to me and you know that, yet you still tell people you don't get replies from me. I just don't know if I want to spend another $200 sendingit toyou for the third time. I have told you to organize your own shipping after you cost me fortune. Andree, you have every right to moan, I'm having trouble payin you for the reserve...and for the German Vat you had to pay because when I shipped it under valued to you you got caught and had to pay the taxes,,,,oh, my mistake,,,, I mean when the manufacturer shipped you your four rigs and you got stung with taxes. Not only did you get the gear at dealer pricing but now I have to pay your countries VAT. Now you moan when I was honest to you and told you I'm having financially difficulties. Anyway, everyone will get their gear, I'm not here to rip people off, I have been one of the largest distributors for four years and then had a year of very bad luck and cash-flow issues building a new store....and it doesn't help when everyone seems to think I'm this big cocaine addict!! Where the fuck did that come from anyway?? Everyone is writing me emails tellin me they hear I'm a drugie. Unbelivable. Andree take me to court and sue me for not paying German vat and duty. Sangi, take me to court for not getting your canopy into the country under valued so you declined to accept it. The rest of my customers...you will get your gear. Some might be late, but it will come and those who know me know damn well I will make sure you end up with a good result, even if it means a free trade in for the downsize once you are ready. Just like we loan you brand new rigs while you wait for your rigs that take 24 weeks to be made, so you get value for money. I'm sorry for my situation but those who want to hurt my business will force bankruptcy and everyone losses out. How about given me a chance to make things right, get things back on track and save all your gear. I will die trying to before I let a jumper lose a cent. I will not reply anymore to this thread, I won't even look at it again. I could feel it was here and have ignred it until now. But who fuck it, I ain't hiding from anyone and I'm working hard on saving everything. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
  8. I cant find it at the moment but someone recently posted a cartoon about someone intentionally not speaking clear then acting all smug when they get their chance to clarify and say what they should have said in the first place. I really wish i could find it because it is very fitting here. Its a combination of experience and snag. It's BOTH. You seem to only want to argue one or the other. No one here is siding with you except Sangi. (For all we know you are Sangi.) Stop trolling. We are having a serious grown up discussion about people dying. Go troll in the speakers corner or bonfire. You elminated snag with the mount you spoke about. I ASKED , IN THAT SITUATION if a SNAG occurs , would more experience help ? That was a general question about that specific situation.

  10. This thread definitely went to tar and feathers. I read: Want a smaller container because I take freeflying seriously; Want a container I can make many downsizes with. I don't fly my canopy radically and may start HP landings next season. How that turned into Sangi 2.0 is really posters feeding off of posters comments and not really what the OP was saying. What size did you end up buying? Are you considering going to a low bulk main? etc. Hope it works out for you. Sadly, one of the most important questions people ask (Should I downsize?) is always responded to with tar and feathers.
  11. That's just bullshit. You know as well as I do that what prompts reactions like this are when people are making stupid decisions but are displaying arrogance when justifiying them. The 'I'm exceptional', or 'I understand the risks' argument just doesn't hold water. You've made some pretty questionable decisions about your canopy choices in the past if I remember correctly, and weren't exactly receptive to those comments at the time - even though you'd just been giving Sangi the exact same advice. Maybe that's colouring your perspective about the feedback possible on the board. I can think of several threads in the last month about people wanting to downsize inappropriately which didn't end up like this one. Again - it's the attitude which brings on the shitstorm. That's a learning point. not sure where you got the "you've made questionable canopy-decisions part" off or from. got a used rig with a 150 sabre, next step was a 119er safire2 with the shiny, custom-made micron to go with it. at 250 jumps. gained a bit of weight, dropped a lot, bought baserigs with 265ers in there. not thinking about downsizing anytime soon. as i havent jumped much lately due to a work-accident that almost left me killed or seriously disabled. but hasnt. so, better get your facts straight, spit out what bothers you or whatelse is on your mind. if i could read the crystal-ball, i'd be living in my fancy penthouse i can jump from since i've won the lottery or.. yea, well, sorry to say, just shut your trap. and i mean that in the friendliest way possible!

  13. No. When the consequences of a bad decision are as serious as they are in skydiving, people will tell you the truth. It may be unpleasant, but it's the truth. The video of Sangi's accident is a stark reality of what can happen. If you don't understand that, you really need to step away from the sport for a bit. You got a lot of "You're going to die" comments because far, far too many people have died jumping canopies that were too small for them. There have been more than a few people who died under small canopies who knew what they were doing, and just made the 'wrong mistake at the wrong time' and didn't survive the error. People are blunt on here, going so far as to "predict" a date to make it clear that this is serious. As was noted above, too many younger people are "invincible." They say that they understand the risk. They say that they are willing to accept the consequences. But they don't really. They truly don't believe that it can happen to them. They won't admit that to anyone else. They may not even admit it to themselves. Your attitude and comments are very typical of a 'young hotshot" who is "above average" (or at least believes so). What is known as "Madd Skilz." Whether or not you really are that type, I don't know. All we have to go by is your written word. So the reaction here is typical. A lot of that type get hurt. Some just have a close call. And often quit after that, saying something like "I really didn't realize it could happen to me." Some get killed. 14. No i won´t, but still considering to stay @ 150 (wih my 160 reserve). The main reason i want to go with a 135 is that i think it´s okay when I just go for straight landings and really slowly built up speed. I definitely won´t swoop or even do a 90° / double front risers, just really slowly get used to it. And the other is, that both my instructor and rigger said if i´m carful it should be fine. Both know me well and so they should know, that im not an irrational person. But to be shure, thats it´s only a light dumb idea and not a totally stupid idea, i thought i ask the "masses" for their opinion. @Freak: Thanks for the links, after watching the videos i really feel bad for Sangi :( But I think there is a big difference between slowly getting used to a smaller chute or going for a radical 270° swoop. I am not considering to swoop within the next 300 jumps, a month ago a friend @ my DZ hit the ground, because he thought he can handle a 270° with around 300 jumps.
  15. Sangi... http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_view_flat;post=4203276;page=1;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;mh=100; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEC-wkrWEUk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YZHpdtQVMw HAVE FUN... ...JUST DONT DIE
  16. So already there's fine print. Just the niche market, and nothing else, even if used for jumping? So if someone has, say, a skater or ski helmet they used for skydiving, no discount? BTW, time was when many many thousands of jumps were made in hockey helmets. I guess no discount for those, either, eh? Fuck me...Dude get an Act.. The man is offering a discount if it's not to your liking piss off and pay full price somewhere else. ETA I jump Cookie helmets, so not kissing up to BH, just responding to Andys shitty attitude. Don't mind him. He's a troll which probably also means he's a damn good lawyer, but only mildly amusing here. Now Sangi on the other hand. He's the skygod of trolls! What say you, Sangi? Blue skies, Keith Medlock
  17. See sangi, once again you don't know what you are talking about. Silent Pumpkin is actually only 2' tall and that is the smallest rig Kelly has even made or can even be TSOed. She tried to pack Luigi's 37' into it, but it still looked a light tight, so they had to get the 21-21 out of the closet. Pumpkin, of course I'm kidding. For all except the part about sangi not knowing what he is talking about. And the rig looks schweet. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
  18. Wrong, I just searched for Sangi's first posts in the WS forum and he got polite responses to the first dozen or so easy answer questions he asked. The first one where he was unhappy with the responses was when he asked: "What will happen if you put a 100 jump wonder in a V3?" Which honestly is about like entering a handgun forum and asking: "What will happen if you give a 5-year old a loaded gun and send him to school?" I mean, WHO KNOWS? Nobody can predict the future. Maybe nothing will happen in either case, but the person asking either question obviously knows that it is a bad idea and against published recommendations. Both questions are silly, and both questions are disturbing because they make you worry about the thought process of somebody who would ask them. So when people POLITELY responded to Sangi asking how many jumps he had, and where he jumped so some locals could answer his questions in person, he got offended. If you get offended because people are honestly concerned for you, and honestly trying to help... that is your issue. Silly skygods... trying to offer good advice. www.WingsuitPhotos.com
  19. I was/am one of those "skygods" that called sangi out on some of the misinformation he was spewing. Giving an opinion on something he has either no or very limited experience is the problem. The fact that he reacts in a negative way to being told he was flat out wrong is his issue. Not this website. My responses are direct, but not rude. Some members here don't sugar coat their opinions. Giving ill informed opinions that can hurt someone is not taken lightly. But saying it is the fault of the "skygods" that he was pushed to make the posts that he does seams a bit offbase. He does it because he likes the responses. The only reason I continue to respond and feed his trolling is that some other new visitor to the site won't actually listen to, or at least will question, the drivel that he writes. I would have no problem hoisting a frosty beverage and talking to him face to face. He might realize that those he tags with the name of skygod is as far from the truth as you believe he is that idiot. Or maybe sangi and those other posters are both right after all. I am a SKYGOD and he is that IDIOT. Only time will tell. I have to admit, me being considered a skygod makes me chuckle. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity
  20. Something that the heroes of this forum lack (refer to inability to stay in your established grid on the 71 way world "record" fl0ck). So let me get this straight, this Sangi fool is giving shit to the 71 world record holders even though he has never even flown a wingsuit?? Am i missing something or is this Sangi the biggest dick head on this site ?? Do _not_ feed the troll.

  22. Couple of jackass soulmates. Sangi, take your own advice, stay away. EFS4LIFE, you're a TROLL, deal with it. You're own post defines "with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response". Guess what? That is exactly what the two of you donkey's log onto dz.com for. Just to post stupid bullshit with the intent of sucking someone into an argument. Lucky for you, there are plenty of us on here that NEVER get tired of pointing out what a moron you or your friend Sangi are. This will NEVER get old. And once again, in a few years, I promise you, you'll be so embarassed of your posts that we'll never see you on here again. Well, at least not under the same user name . You're both novices, stop pumping your chests and flexing your muscles on the internet. No one cares. - - i was sent here to disturb the peace - -
  23. "I will pattent it soon when i start designing my own wingsuit" Remeber this? Seriously man, you remind me of Sangi back in the day before he started jumping. Remember Sangi? Anyway, listen more, talk less. That is my advice to your ignorant ass, there might be suits like your drawing there someday. But you obviously have no idea what the problems associated w/ building one are. Even though you fly paraglider and hang gliders, you under estimate the forces involved. Do you think you are the only paraglider/Hang glider that has an interest in wing suiting? I can count about 5 off the top of my head that have been flying and jumping longer than you have been alive, and even more that currently design wings for the top paragliding manufacturers. Like these guys (http://vimeo.com/12082759) Thats right, the entire Ozone team also fly wing suits, but they don't know anything about flying and building wings compared to you! It ain't as simple as throwing in some carbon fiber spars and extending the aspect ratio...But don't believe us Go fly in the tunnel and prepare to take over the world!
  24. YAY!!! See, I can do more than troll on here! Not that fast! It was your instructors who said that, and even Sangi may have said something productive....once....maybe . Funny enough I actually read a reply by Sangi today that made me think "He's actually saying something helpful" It was about first canopies or something "Damn you Gravity, you win again"
  25. There's another thread where typical DZ.comers bash a 100 jump guy with a GoPro who ditched his helmet before cutaway, yet he is all ok and well and nobody else was hurt as well.. This can be an exactly same analogy, because next time this guy can pull his friends RESERVE handle on exit instead of a cutaway, now that would make for a "fun" video wouldn't it? As I pointed out in another thread, it's all about jump numbers here, if you're below 200, you're gonna be bashed no matter what you do, above that and you're in the cool zone.. You know....i typically chime in and tell Sangi to "Shhhhh" but lately he has been more and more right. I'm not saying it's not funny, but in this case Sangi is right. What is the world/this sport coming to? Ah fuck it....it's dorkzone.com "If this post needs to be moderated I would prefer it to be completly removed and not edited and butchered into a disney movie" - DorkZone Hero
