  2. How much can the older one mess things up in your life whether it be social or otherwise? She will be hurt if she knows, therefore anything other than a descrete relationship shouldn't happen. Unless that is niether of you care if the older one knows. I personally wouldn't mess with it. Sounds to complicated. If you have the energy to deal with it. 3. Pretty good entertaiment for boring moments. The Devante Rodriguez That Eats Like A Meal. Once You Pop, You Can't Stop Leapdog. Gunnery Sergeant of Marines "I would like it if I were challenged mentally at my job and not feel like I'm mentally challenged." - Co-worker
  4. That's real American. How about the government just limit everyone's earning power. Wait, seems to me there was another country that did that.... To answer the original question, if oil prices become $100 a barrel you can count on around $5 per gallon gas. This equates to about a $3 increase in jump prices. It's capitalism guys! Charge what the market will bare..and Caveat Emptor! I don't always like it either but it's better than the alternative. we all should rebell, just like we did against the british, when the ship shows up with all the oil, we riot and just throw it all in the sea. Then Green Peace will kick your ass. Gunnery Sergeant of Marines "I would like it if I were challenged mentally at my job and not feel like I'm mentally challenged." - Co-worker
  5. an interesting read Here It is a very interesting read. I'm familiar with the Vectors and the Skyhook. I rig and I use the system for free fall. I'll also Quote myself here- I wasn't saying that it was any better or worse than any other system. I was trying to point out that usually the attitude you get is such (shock) because the system isn't such a regular thing. It seems that this thread is moving to ward the direction of gear and rigging. Maybe we should continue dicussion in that forum? 7. It seems that just about anyone who doesn't post whore on the forums, whether they never have or stopped post whoreing, is a nobody. You know your are a real postwhore when you and everyone else you post whore with call each other by your screens names when your face to face. Not saying it's bad. If that's what you and your friends like, then it's all good. 10. I give you Beta versus VHS. Then PAL versus NTSC. Why didn't most people adopt PAL Beta. Marketing!!!!! $$$$$$$ r.e. the woomera or pull out reserves, it is NOT a rig for inexperienced people. Hence the market size is limited quite a bit. It's old design is NOT freefly friendly and due to the limited market it has not been modified/updated (there is a spring loaded ripcord woomera but the old pull out design remains). There you have it, MARKET, money. That is why you don't see many!!! I wasn't saying that it was any better or worse than any other system. I was trying to point out that usually the attitude you get is such because the system isn't such a regular thing. 11. I found hearing about a pull out reserve interesting. As a rigger I was intrigued to know how the container is closed and how the system works. As a jumper I found that very wierd because until now they only thing I had heard of was ripcord deployed. Johnny are you with me? Usually when there is something different like that it is a shock because you figure if it worked so well then why don't I see that more often. Then you think that guy must be jumping some really old gear that is crap or they are crazy. I would like to see the Woomera owners manual. If you were jumping this in the states it must have a U.S. TSO Gunnery Sergeant of Marines "I would like it if I were challenged mentally at my job and not feel like I'm mentally challenged." - Co-worker

  16. fafsa.com for the federal Pell grant. Apply for financial aid through your college. Sometimes the school you go to has a scholarships for more than excellent GPAs. Don't forget that when you file your taxes there are breaks for paying tuition. 17. The Chester, SC crew (no pun) are already working up plans and roll call for Memorial day beach boogie. I have already marked my calendar and started talking to some of the CRW Dogs about showing up. I hope we get plenty of dogs there for that boogie. It would be very cool to put together some CF over Emerald Coast. 21. I have done much more stupid things, but since the question was recently... Made a major life change decision partly because of someone else. It seems to be panning out ok since I have been trying to make lemonade out of all the lemons. 22. My Mom was my Dad's student in the early 70's. Dad still jumps once and a while when he isn't piloting a hot air balloon. My Mom quit with a near kill accident. Back then the simple accidents we have today would have killed you. My uncle jumped in the army and some for fun in the 70's but didn't last long. The rest of my family just accepts it. Only once from my family did someone say something. It was my mother, she just said doesn't anyone wear helmets? she saw a video of me do CRW I didn't have a helmet on. 23. Usually every Sunday a few of us get together at Sebastian, FL. Newbie friendly too, as if a newbie to CRW wouldn't be welcome anywhere CRW is done. I use a triathalon Hybrid for a free fall canopy and to do some "light" CRW. It has a few features that most free fall canopies don't have. Orange Dacron, non-cascaded center A lines and retractable pilot chute, and still has the D bag. I built cross connectors for it too just for plane-ups. Nothing different on the risers, standard free fall mini. The canopy came with a bridle for retractable. You have to supply your own standard pilot chute, you can also easily use a kill line pilot chute. 24. It has to be really bad for me to not still care for you and to want the best for you. My last SO, I still want the absolute best for him. I hope he's happy, healthy and living large...truly wish he could smile at me and love me as much in return when we see each other again. You would be correct, for the most part, that naturally parents have unconditional love for their children. There are lots of parents that are very confused and think they have this but don't. Then the other way abandonment, which I don't understand altogether. personally for me, Love is something that you have to learn to do for yourself first. If you can do that in the way of self respect, then you can learn to love others by giving the benefit of the doubt. I have been stepped on enough in some pretty bad ways that I don't readily give the benefit of the doubt so easily anymore. The ones who have stepped on me didn't know what unconditional love was to begin with or else they wouldn't have treated me the way they did. Then there are some that you just have to burn the bridge with because they are not healthy with themselves mentally, emotionally, or physically let alone for you. They can't love themselves so how can they give it out,let alone unconditionally. I guess I'm trying to answer the question- no it doesn't exists. I think you would have to be a hopeless romantic, or naive to think there is love unconditionally, because if someone got stepped on enough they wouldn't give it anymore.
