  1. I think you'd have to pull left then pull right for that to work, or maybe pull them at the same time. You're not going to beat any RSL unless you pull out of order. The skyhook should work as designed if you pull right then pull left. Dave Just as I have stated, pull right then pull left. You wouldn't beat the RSl, you wouldn't have to. It would function just as I described and designed. Bag lock remember? So the Main wouldn't be pulling anything to begin with. The hook would slip from the lanyard the reserve PC would deploy the reserve, the main would not be connected. I have one and have used it. 2. Maybe a stupid question, but did you try brand new batteries? Gunnery Sergeant of Marines "I would like it if I were challenged mentally at my job and not feel like I'm mentally challenged." - Co-worker
  3. Are we assuming that the RSL is a primary means of reserve deployment and not your left hand? In a bag lock or any other mal, you look right grap right, look left grab left, then pull right, pull left. The reserve pilot chute will deploy and the skyhook will slip off the lanayd and the main if it were to open will not help pull the reserve. I think it was also pointed out that at terminal a reserve deployment snatch force won't kill you. I use a skyhook. As any experienced skydiver should know you have to mold your procedures according to the equipment you jump. 13. www.anywho.com you can do a search for last names. I have used it and just made random calls introducing myself and asking a few questions abut family members I knew and if we both knew them then I guess it was a relative. I did my search trying to find out how many realtives I didn't know that might have been Marines. jJst about everyone in my family were Army or Airforce. I thought I was the only and first Marine in the blood line. I found other wise. local gov sometimes has a records search for next of kin. Needs to be quick so as not to get caught setting it up. Can't cause anything that will get IT invloved, I could have gotten in real trouble today- read my original post. If I had access to the PC I could copy the desk top and then save it as a JPG, hide the task bar and open the JPG. most people will click the icons for a while. but again can't get IT involved. Office pranks

I'm looking for ideas to prank co-workers that won't get phone support or IT dept. involved. Examples of stuff I have done: Remove the mouse ball from the mouse. Easily noticed but easily fixed so IT isn't involved. Stole the chair and put it in the warehouse. This guy looked just about all day for another chair. he eventually found one that looked like his and thought he found it. It's been three days and the chair I took still sits in the warehouse. Switched the M and N key (the co-worker is a hunt and peck typer) This one was good but almost got IT heavily involved. It took this guy and the boss two hours to get his password reset because his password just happen to have an N or an M in it. later he found the keys were switched when he went to type an email and the M produced an N. I'm going to zip tie his phone cord together to when he answers the phone he will jerk it off the desk. Any more ideas?
