  1. this is another good song by morcheeba. i have never met anyone else who knows of this band. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CTBOskmXaE "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  2. i really like sweet home alabama. and that movie hard candy is far from a chick flick, i would say it is more thriller than anything. i was at my buddies house (he rents with two other people) and we hit play on the dvd player to watch whatever while we smoked. turned out it was hard candy, we didnt know anything about it. to say the least i was surprised. "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  3. or a trip down south, we jump all year "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."

  7. Maybe but the flaps still come open apparently. I'm certainly not convinced because the riser covers appear to be very similar to early Javelins. i am not following the "but the flaps still come open apparently" part. could you explain please? "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  8. Many? you can do aff in georgia at 16, but cant do a tandem until you are 18. "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  9. yeah, but it takes a lot of shit to make a skydive not so much to get in a tunnel. "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  10. kind of stupid what they did with it, but i could see some uses with canopy training. "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."

  12. thanks for the info. her is a link to some pics of the new dolphin from earlier in the thread. scroll down about 1/3 of the way. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_view_flat;post=3925135;page=2;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;mh=25; it seems that all the problems people have with freeflying dolphins have been addressed. these aren't mods, this is how the new rigs come. "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."

i like the way the season ended. last season they left you with a jaw dropper that we had to wait 9 months to see the end. there is still loose ends with the Liddy investigation. "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."

  17. hilariously true!!! i mean it would be if i went to porn sites... "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  18. Nothing I did was worth pictures. A couple of special mentions Andy (popsjumper) introduced me to people and arranged for me to go up as a pax. Went up in the co-pilots seat of the Otter with Bruce flying and once everyone exited he pretty much stood the plane on its nose (certainly felt like it anyway). I wasn't expecting it and I have never seen an altimeter unwind that fast. We had to "wait" for the tandem to land before we could. It was the last load of the day. I was invited to Mel's (really hope that is her name as I started to lose track) house warming and had a good time - including Travis's jokes I "grew up" in a family dz operating from a nearby airport and jumping into a farm. The farm has the same welcoming atmosphere and you would be hard pressed to feel left out. I think Hans has a great thing going. Finally got to meet the infamous Andy Copland - still can't figure out which is worse his online personality or him in person the farm is an amazing place, glad you enjoyed it. i have landed in the otter twice, once as a pax and the other on the way back from fitz. it scares me way more than landing under canopy! "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  19. So? Im not going beacuse im broke. Hungover. And moved 8 hrs away from my home dz. i cant believe nobody told you that you are supposed to move closer to the dz, not further away!!! "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  20. i use this method as well. "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  21. Yes, we have a few at our DZ that do and I replace their velcro on their reserve flap on a regular basis. Look, if a Dolphin has the updates that Mr. Furry has been building into his rigs for the last few years (i.e. Tuck tabs on main riser covers, bridle protection et cetera) then the only thing about a Dolphin I would be concerned about is the lack of tuck tabs on the reserve flap. If taken care of, it will stay down, but with worn velcro it opens and flaps around in a normal sit. the newer dolphins have a tuck tab reserve pin cover. the only velcro is on the main flap. "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  22. i think this one would have to be it. "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  23. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/buy/Digital-Cameras/ci/991/N/4291645412 this is a very good place to buy camera equipment. all the professionals use it or at least have used it. if you cant find what you need, you dont need it "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  24. talk about over kill. "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
  25. i was in the third grade and my parents told me. i was the youngest and last to find out. it didn't bother me and it was nice to give my parents the thanks they deserved. "Never grow a wishbone, where your backbone ought to be."
