Dave gave a very nice, very confused old cashier a 20 for a 4 dollar purchase. She gave him 21 bucks back. She just didn't get it. I had to teach her how to make change. skydiveTaylorville.org [email protected]
  3. RIP DSE "s Dad. Still missing mine after all of these years. Yea, I believe they come to visit and console you in your dreams, too. skydiveTaylorville.org [email protected]

  6. btw, agree with you, this is definitely not the "old" shower house in the N40. Roof line is much too high. skydiveTaylorville.org [email protected]
  7. Hey Twardo, Do you think that maybe one of the private Hangars could have been painted this color and maybe this is what we are looking at? I agree that the trees seem to be right, but there are, and have been a lot of airshows in Wisc and Mn. skydiveTaylorville.org [email protected]
  8. DING DING DING! WE HAVE A WINNER! the only REAL e-ticket, is one badass helicopter. Rod Tinneys Bell 412! skydiveTaylorville.org [email protected]
  9. I was very proud of my hubby when he gave away all of his equipment. Entire rig, and altimeter. He still has his crazy tie dyed jumpsuit, and I am sure someone will be the proud recipient of that at somepoint in the near future. We call it the good vibes rig, since most of it was originally given to us by RevJim. The person who recieved it was told that he could only give it away, never sell any part of it, or the vibe would change. skydiveTaylorville.org [email protected]
  10. knock knock knock "Penny?" knock knock knock "Penny?" Wouldn't miss it! skydiveTaylorville.org [email protected]

  12. And all the balls are RED. Red balls are the most fun to chase after. We have lost both FreeFall and Tandem in the last several weeks and it is quite lonely when no one runs to the door to greet you when you come home. I feel for ya Joe. skydiveTaylorville.org [email protected]
  13. Kept early man from having to deal with child support while trying to invent the wheel. Well, the cavewoman got the last laugh taking all his money in the divorce. Yeah...she kept the cave AND the fire! [/reply but if she had been REALLY smart, she would have waited out the invention of the wheel, patented it, and kept half of the income from the patent. Just sayin' skydiveTaylorville.org [email protected]
  14. "Peanut Reputation Ruined" THat is an oxymoron. skydiveTaylorville.org [email protected]
  15. It's like Romeo and Juliet. Well, the Florida version of Romeo and Juliet...... I was gonna say "florida trailer park version" and then I realized Florida IS a trailer park, so your comment is exactly correct! skydiveTaylorville.org [email protected]
  16. We had that same problem last week. Changed password and got in. Tonight we got a notice that our retirement fund had been transfered on Tuesday. Tomorrow we follow thru. Scarey. Check all of your accounts. skydiveTaylorville.org [email protected]
  17. QuoteFelix Baumgartner originally planned on jumping from 120,000 feet out out of an AN-2, which can easily reach this altitude. But an 11 year ride to jump run seemed a bit much... skydiveTaylorville.org [email protected]
  18. I always loved Don Kirlins answer to this (He was the Owner of the World Free Fall Convention). He would say, "I can tell anyone how to make a small fortune in the skydiving industry...... First, you start with a large fortune!" skydiveTaylorville.org [email protected]

  23. Patrick Mercier is a long time skydiver from the Paris area, although he has recently moved to the South of France. He has vast knowledge of the area, and is a generally great guy. He helped me at the WFFC for several years, he would come over to the US just to volunteer for the summer for us. He was teaching French at the University of Illinois in Champaign, when I first met him. He teaches English in France. He is also a climber and spelunker and chef. He is on FB or on here as French Cloud. Don't see him on this website much anymore, but he is on FB sometimes. skydiveTaylorville.org [email protected]
  24. Sheeeeeez....I'm not gonna say a word about what ones I've gone to. But I will say that breakfast in bed for 400,000 could have been a little better. You can REMBEMBER which ones you've been to? Yea! I thought not! skydiveTaylorville.org [email protected]
