On that point I do agree. I jump a 5d w/20mm fixed and it is a heavy SOB. That being said, the Peripheral Illumination Correction would be a great feature on the full frame... See if I can get Canon to let me take on for a rip!!

That was the exact same problem I was having...not really sure if I was taking photos or not with the mouth switch. Bite was better, but not nearly robust enough. Why not make it with a much more durable material?? Could you not wrap it in something similar to what they make mouthguards out of?? I have one for hockey and that thing has lasted me for years!

Over the past year, I have used a mouth switch and a bite switch. The mouth switch just stopped working and the bite switch only lasted 10 jumps!!! I have a nasty overbite so it's been really hard to find a switch that I am comfortable with. Right now, I'm using a tongue switch and I'm pretty happy with the results. I found the bite switch a bit easier to activate, but was a bit hard on it. Tongue does take some getting used to, but I hope it lasts a bit longer that the last 2.

Definitely go for the basics.... A good grounding in that will create the best foundation. But what ever you do, don't do CReW...that never works well in the tunnel

Hmm. I wouldn't think that the lowest setting that a camera would have would be 1600 - I'm guessing that would be the highest. The lowest is probably 100 or 200. Higher ISO equivalent will give you a grainer image, but the sensor is much more light sensitive. So there is a trade off. Most skydiving shots are shot 100, 200 or 400 - I would guess... What type of camera are you looking at??
