I think it's good that a company keeps their customers informed about these problems but to make this mandatory??.. I don't know. Just have my rig a month. Cutaways cable were cleaned two weeks ago during inspection/repack. Now that there is a SB I guess my rigger can clean them again??...This sounds nuts. Will you issue a new SB again next month to remind us we have to clean our cables again?? ... _______________________________________

you have a chance of backsliding because your booties will create more drag. It will take more force to extend your legs far enough to keep you fly in one place (not backsliding or moving forward). That's about it I think..Do your first jump without booites..the second with _______________________________________

60 euros (Netherlands/europe) for a repack without packing your main but I can do that myself anyway

I just bought a new icon/pilot/smart and I love it. You can't go wrong with aerodyne but before you buy a new rig ask yourself if you see yourself jumping at your current wingload for a while. I bought my rig at 100 jumps and at a wingload of 1.25. Talking to your instructor about this is always a good idea I've jumped a bunch of canopies and I liked the Pilot the most..personal choice of course but it's a very nice int. canopy. ] _______________________________________

Well...I'm impressed with my own packing skills I must say. It opened soft and and on heading.. Today..at 13000ft....-30 degrees Celsius (that's -22 Fahrenheit).......after one jump I had enough and went looking for heater

I could always use some good pointers as I still strugle from time to time getting the damn thing in the bag but I'm getting the hang of it though...two tries for putting a brand new main into the bag (and it looks good) is pretty impressive for a first time (lets just forget it took 1.5 hours ok? ). Any help is always appreciated....any chance you would like to be my personal packer? That would be awesome .. Anyway...my motto:..You jump...you pack (yourself). Just received my goggles...they are very nice...didn't expect them so soon....Thanks ..am going to try them (and my rig) out tomorrow in France...wheeeeee

especially when you're packing a brand new zp main for the very first time Only took me two tries and 1.5 hours...Pretty fast if I say so myself ...but i do think it is my worst packjob ever but there is no way in hell I can pack it smaller then this...I wonder how or if it will open ..otherwise I'll have a good excuse to try out my new reserve too.. Just my two cents.. The Icon i5 can't properly hold a pilot 168 and a smart 175...get a smart 160 instead if you're planning to buy an aerodyne i5 system... If anybody from europe wants a smart 175 reserve for a good price...msg me.. _______________________________________

Just bought an icon i5 with a pilot 168 and smart 175. Based my decision on the canopy chart from Aerodyne. Whatever the chart sais..Don't buy a smart 175 with this size rig. It is just too big and you will regret it. I ended up with buying a different reserve. My recommendation to Aerodyne is to change the chart. Otherwise I have nothing but praise for this rig...it looks great and fits perfectly although I would like to have seen cut-in laterals on the I5.

i know what you mean. I just received my brand new pilot 168 and am afraid to even touch it. I haven't taken it out of the bag yet to see if the colorscheme is right because then I have to pack it myself . What a joy will it be to pack this thing for the very first time.... Packing is not very difficult though with older chutes and with a bit of practise you can do it with your eyes closed _______________________________________

I've been to Aerokart two times. It's a nice place and a very good windtunnel. Be sure to mention that you are skydivers and what you want to do in the tunnel :)... That's all _______________________________________

The have a insert (very small pair of extra glasses) which you click onto the inside of the goggles). take a look at www.adidas.com..am sure they're on a webpage somewhere Both are expensive...barz are a bit cheaper then the adidas. _______________________________________

Actually it is...Gravity Gear rocks I have yet to find a dealer which is willing to go the extra mile(s) for their customers . I just received my rig and couldn't be happier with the service and care provided... _______________________________________

here it is... I'm beginning to believe more and more that a reserve repack and changing closingloop lengths will solve my problems...hope to get my rig to a rigger tomorrow.. The rigs fits perfect though....

hee kbone, I'm not really that big....1.85 meter. normal posture. Yep..my main is packed. I'll post pictures of me wearing the rig tomorrow..(have to get camera). I think/hope it's just a crappy packjob though but I"m not sure. i have seen lots of icon and they are really nice rigs..the other rigs all looked ok
