I didnt see the modle HDCP complient witch could present a problem if you want to use HD DVD on the set , It's still up in the air on how ridgid they will enforce it. HDCP would requier a complient Video card for your computer if you want to play back HD content. This is a pain in the ass to say the least because most TV's are still not selling with HDCP just another DRM scheame to controle the consumer if you play back HD content to a non HDCP moniter it will down grad the resloution to DVD quality. this is dependedt of the flag on the content you want to play back so it's can vary by movie to movie. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDCP SO this one time at band camp..... My wife works for at TD Bank she told me a money order is credited right away to the depositer from the deposters own bank. It is then sent to the clearing house to have the funds from the issuing bank or instution to transfer the money from them to your bank. This can take up to 10 business days to be completed. If at that stage it turns out it's a fraud the bank comes back to the depositer and removes that money from the deposters account. Money orders have been used in a lot of fraud lately because of people impression that they are as good as cash. People get a money order thinking it good like cash ship out the items then find out the bank as taken their money back. So yes it resonable to and advisable to wait till it clears on a money order unless you are depositing to same bank as it was drawen from so it can be instantly comfirmed if it's valid or not. That’s really important , I've haven’t had any problems but My brother has , We've learn a few things. The stuff wideguy has mentioned my Brother rented to some one he knew and it turned in to a horror story. Place was trashed was stuck with a $1800 water and hydro bill. They people were busted for growing a few marijuana plants witch if an illegal activity taking place for drugs is an automatic cancellation of insurance policy. *No Renting to Friends or Family!!!!!!! *Generic rental agreements suck! See a lawyer for the State/Province and City you are in to get a rental form made. *Know YOUR right and the tenants (as tempting as it is cutting the waters lights ect. just causes you more hassles if you ever need to go to court. *Know you city by laws. my brother had gotten stuck with a $1800 power and water bill even thought the renters had that in their name the City had a new by law that in case of default the Owner is ultimately responsible for the bill. *Have insurance and know exactly what is and is not covered! * Don't be a hard ass on every situation for me I have awesome tenants so I give much more leeway to them just as we all know life happens and some times better to let something go and keep good people in there. (I gave them a rent reduction because of what they have done to keep the place matained zero hassle out of these people was worth getting less it's still enough to pay the mortgage and pay all the cost) *Don't rent to family or friends ( or friends and family of friends ( this is where my brother got burned ) *Check on the place on a regular basis or pay a company to do it for you. If in doubt check it out * As a last resort we have used the Clause in Ontario if a place is needed for Moving in personally by the owner or family member , Major renovations ect to get some one out before a end date for the lease. *Document everything!!!!! if you get a call to fix something keep a maint log ect on when it was requested and when it was done. (This helped a lot when my brother Had to defend his evection at the housing tribunal. *Do it by the book or it will eventually bite you in the ass as long drawn out process it can be if you do illegal thing to get a tenant out it may just end in a court or housing tribunal getting the evection over turned and you back as square one with the dick still there. I know what you mean I have a person renting a Place I own befor I moved Cities , My brother looks after the place buts has to do jack !!!! they enjoy cutting the grass and gardening , they asked if they couyld paint and have done a great job of what they have done. I just break even with on my mortage and taxes with there rent because I cut them a break because they they are so easy to get along with. They cant buy a house to to a bankrupcy but take pride in where they live. People like that I have no problem helping out they deserve it. SO this one time at band camp..... was paying $1350 a month plus utilites here in toronto and have to deal with freaking street parking but he became a pain in the ass , Now just bought a 5 bedroom house parking for 10 cars a garage and a back yard that 5 time bigger then were renting and only costing $50 more a month (and I dont beed to ask permission to put in a dish washer , pain , walpaper ect.ect.ect. rotflol ahh the joys of parent hood, The keys are fairly easy to replace if the little tabs are not broken if they are its better just to replace the key board or buy a cheap non working one and do a transfer of them. If I get a chance I'll pop a few off mine and take some pictures to show what I mean. I would recomend a 12gage , unles you shoot a lot and know that you can perform under stress in the dark and various shooting positions, Pluss just waking up add another element where a pistole might not be the best choice. Also get a light on that thing make it bright. Blinding some one and getting a good look may mean the difference between an intruder or a some one you know getting a blast from a shotgun. also alows you more time to react to the situation while the intruder in tempoarly blinded. I also recomend a shot gun as a 9mm will pass through drywall like it's nothing and being in a duplex you dont want to have to worry where the shot is going and weather it will hurt some one eilse. Put an alarm system in the house and put a solid core door on a bedroom or bathroom door with a dead bolt. If you have other family members thats where they should go and stay! while you investagate. This dose a few things one they can call 911 if it is indeed an intruder and two you know exactly where they are as you clear the aera. SO this one time at band camp.....
