  1. Negative. It's Star Crest Recipient. Duh! I knew that. I mean it is a star formation. I don't know why I put silver. Thanks for the correction.
  2. Silver Crest Recipient It's a free flown 8-way. I've attached a link for the other awards and what they are about. http://www.scr-awards.com/ It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  3. :: Way to windy to jump this weekend in KS. Played golf instead in the annual Ryder Cup format between two local clubs here. Won all my matches and our club won the trophy. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  4. Maybe he's just tired of too many women around the house and is marking his territory. Seriously. I'm no vet but maybe a UTI. Animals do funny things when they have them. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  5. :10:0 A tracking dive was planned and it was my 600th. Matteo asked if I wanted to do something different and I said that was fine I hadn't done a tracker in awhile. We had fun and after break-off and deployment I had severe, I mean SEVERE line twist. Once I got it stopped and started to kick out the canopy decided to start turning and diving. Somewhere in the third turn I was looking at blue sky and decided it was time to leave. This was NOT what I meant when I said I wanted to do something different. Can't wait for 700. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  6. I once did a 112 point 1-way from a 182. Exited at 10K and had canopy by 4K. What can I say, I really like touching myself.
  7. My wife came up with a great idea. We both carry nylon laundry bags with pull ties on them. They can be purchased for a buck at any store like Wal-Mart or whatever you have in your area. If we end up needing to leave in a hurry we just daisy chain the lines and stuff the canopy and lines into the bag all the way up to the risers and pull the ties tight. Protects the canopy. Shouldn't be a problem unless your roommate thinks that silver handle is for easier carrying. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.

The tat is in honor of my fallen brothers. It was the worst birthday ever. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  9. Twin Peaks. Unfortunately, when it ended they left us with an episode that made you glad it wasn't coming back. It seemed as if they didn't know how to finish it. M*A*S*H Andy Griffith Show It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  10. I thought about heading down Sunday but I was afraid it would be a wash. Hopefully this weekend will be good for night jumps. New batteries in the altimeter so hopefully it won't fail again at the worst time. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  11. I have a firend who started out just mowing and cleaning around the dz. He had his rigger ticket but still had to work his way in. If you have any credit you can buy a small travel trailer for $200 a month and that way you have your home if you move on to another dz. If you don't have credit established yet, it could be a good way to get it started. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  12. QuoteMy grandfather was the requisition officer in charge of sending the Enola Gay to Hawaii to get it's bomb bay doors widened so Little Boy could fit in there.reply] I knew, he recently passed away, the gentleman who carried the Japanese surrender documents to the USS Missouri. He also handled my wifes adoption. I once shook hands with Michael Landon, aka Little Joe. When I was in school on St. Louis I worked out in the same gym as Steve Carlton. He was with the Philles at the time but still lived in Chesterfield. He would bring other pro baseball players in with him and they were all very friendly. The pro football players that worked out there were all dicks. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  13. Not to change the subject of SNL history but, does anybody know where I can pick up an affordable used Bass O-Matic? It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  14. I missed a lot of college parties on Saturday nights because of that show. But, that just goes to show you. It's allwaays, somethin'. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.

  16. Hey, if you really have a friend that wants a wingsuit I have one for sale. It has little slits in it for added speed. Maybe you've seen it. Have you see the movie Gypsy Moths? I used it when I did all the stunts for that movie. I gotta tell you though, it's a little scuffed up. That landing scene at the end, yeah, really banged me up. Limped for like a whole week. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  17. I just started reading Flush. It, like Hoot, is a childrens book. Actually it's more young adult. Same writing style and humor just teenagers against crooked adults for a story line. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.

    Am I a tard?

Guess it's a good thing I didn't ask for your help yesterday, eh It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  19. :3:0 1 high open to work on canopy skills and chase a tandem 2 ff Should have been more. We had a fly-in at our local airport and have always had a jump plane for the day. This year the guy forgot to tell his pilot about it and the pilot made other arrangements. So, no plane. OK, that's my pissin'-n-moanin' for the day. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  20. We need one more Mike. All but one got Seven Dwarfs nicknames. The lone one is Billy because he bought a helmet with the name painted on it. I sail a Hobie catamaran and the sail number is 331. I used it for my screen name and Hobie just took. I used to be Yo-yo. Not skydive related though. When I worked fire/rescue I got promoted up and down the chain of command alot. Seems I had issues with authority(receiving it, not giving it). It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  21. Tank It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  22. 0:4:2 Finally got around to doing night jumps. Did both then passed the D exam.
  23. Just wondering if there have been any huge updates with such software. Thinking about trying it and getting rid of the cost of paying a transcriptionist. It's been a couple years or so since I talked with anyone using it and at the time they were not satisfied and had moved on, or maybe back, to transcription. I'm really proud of myself today. I actually went looking for a thread on this subject instead of starting a new one.
