  1. Night before It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  2. Evidently I wasn't the only person at home on a crappy weather day. Saw this flick when it first came out and several times since. So naturally had to tune it in too. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  3. humps:jumps:beer owed (and evidently there is some debate as to whether a threesome counts as 1,2 or 3 ) 1 - 2 or 3 . . . Cases of ber owed? Humps. Refer to the previous weekend numbers thread started by Ms. Bloom. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.

  5. Aubrey, I can't believe you would even say such a thing. Problem is too many people that have never jumped a 182 think the spot "is the green light." Oh, and congrats on saving your own life. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  6. Geriatics(aka: Team Viagra, aka: Team Frequent Urination) jump Friday if you like RW. Look them up, or chances are they will find you. If you are a ff'er look Randy up. Not too many ff'ers on Friday though. Great place, you'll have fun. It has become a home away from home for many of us Kansans as it is our closest turbine dz. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  7. Reminds me of an old Beverly Hillbillies episode. A group of doctors were investigating Grannies home brew cold cure. Seems you take a drink of it and in 7-10 days your cold was gone. I too prefer more natural remedies but will admit when I get a "bad" cold I will resort to OTC drugs. Just spent the past week fighting one and it has been at least three years since my last. One thing that helps me, at least to clear my head, is honey with just enough lemon juice to thin it out and load it with cayenne pepper. Shot glass will do. Does it "cure" my cold, no, but makes my sinuses drain. Oh, and I do a sinus rinse too. Good luck. Feel better. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  8. I'll start it this week: :2: 1 RW into Benton(KS) airport yesterday. Benton was the airport where the skydiving scenes for Gypsy Moths were filmed. Our friend Skip put it together and we flew several loads and packed in the hangar used in the film. After we watched the movie in the Stearman Restaurant. Fun time. 1 RW today. Two RW jumps in two days. Probably should owe for that too. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  9. 0:8:0 All tandems. Had two more scheduled when a storm moved in. Got the last load down and decided to suspend operations. Within about five minutes all hell broke loose. That sucker was moving fast. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  10. If we go on the basis that man discovered sex before discovering how to make fire (which seems a logical assumption)... Well, I'm guessing that yes, prostitution (sex for profit) existed before bakers (cooking stuff requires a fire/oven/microwave!!!). I'm thinking if there had been prostitutes before bakers, the donut hole quite possibly would have never been invented. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  11. Just curious. How long was that canopy flight? It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  12. :6: 5 tandems and 1 backfly lurking a tandem. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  13. :11:0 All freefly, been awhile. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.

  15. Having spent the past 30 years in Dennis' home town of McPherson I have heard all the stories from people after they find out that I skydive. My wife and I just met him in February of this year while on a TX turbine tour. When we showed up in Rosharon it was windy and not much jumping going on. We looked him up and introduced ourselves. He proceeded with the $5 tour and kept us entertained that day. The next day when the jumping was going on he kept checking in on us to make sure we were having a good time. I first met his son at KSUPC. Later, his mom showed up at my office to introduce herself and PROUDLY show me an article about him. Let me tell, if you've ever met June Anderson(Dennis' mom) then you know where his piss and vinegar comes from. She stopped by again a couple months ago with pictures of her tandem with her son and grandson on her 85th birthday. The funeral today was beautiful and I believe soul cleansing. Following the service there was a Missing Man formation of Cessnas flying over the church. We then gathered for a lunch and afterwards flew three loads of h-n-p's. The other three members on my load had know Dennis for years. Afterwards, I had one of them sign my logbook and we visited for a few minutes. As I was walking away I heard a "hey" behind me. When I turned around the gentleman(I wasn't introduced to him by name and his signature in my lobbook rivals only mine for being illegible) said to me, "when you're working with students this weekend be like Dennis. Make sure they learn something and have as much fun as you do." I hope to someday be half the instructor Dennis was. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  16. Don't be hatin' It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  17. :2: Easy start back after a month lay-off with a shoulder issue(unrelated to skydiving). 1 FF 1 Tandem - beer owed for first tandem out of a C206. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
  18. 0:3:0 3 tandems and packed my own. Next weekend Jeremy I say we hold Charlie down and kick his ass for not packing. It's a gift, I don't try to explain it.
