  1. Yeah jumping a 150! Will be awhile. Of note the weight loss was noticeable of flare with my 210 and I flared myself up a couple of feet and had to hold it 'till I got back down. Would like to be in the 180's.
  2. Thanks sooo much! Great! Now I just have to be able to get away from the CASH unit from time to time. Hope that's possible. AWOL is still an offense ain't it?

And when you think about starting again, think about the likelihood of it taking away you ability to be active (i.e. Jump).
  4. May seem like a silly question, but in Feb. I am getting deployed to Iraq. Any of you over there is there anywhere (Like Kuwait) where you can jump. Even if I only got a single day opportunity while I was there it would help me stay current, as I promised myself when I started I would always stay current.
  5. Don't worry about people seeing you nervous. More people than you realize will be able to relate. I had just gotten rid of the nerve thing when I was around three accidents in eight days. They came back to a small extent getting near altitude. I'd whisper a silent "Lord protect me" and deep breathe like my AFF instructors taught and as I would get to the door POOF, gone. Now they are again a thing of the past. Nerves will always come and go, depending on several factors. Accept and own them, they keep you alive. Sounds like you are doing all the right things to get over them and they will go away in time. When you get nervous realize they'll disappear on exit. It's easier to handle things if you know it's for a short time. Good luck and congrats on you courage--you deserve a lot of credit for sticking it out.

Congrats. Keep it up. Word to the wise..stay away from places where people smoke. Sure fire way to start again.
  7. Kinda like a seatbelt in your car. Don't drive like a bat outta hell because you have one on, but if you have a wreck, it's sure nice to have one! I've always thought of it like a skydiving seatbelt. I forgot to turn it on once and felt nervous when repacking after I realized I jumped with it off. Since it was a solo jump no big deal other than as I didn't have my A yet I was breaking BSR's.
  8. Hope you feel better and glad you had a decent E.R. experience. Rest up.
  9. Getting in a week late. Current: 206 -10 lbs this week. Hope to be under 200 next week.
  10. Dr. Boobie Chuckledoodle should inpire hope amongst the sick.
  11. Why would you want to lay a shallow bitch...oops sorry, misread. Depends on how fat you are.
  12. Next you're gonna tell me Santa Claus isn't real! Hey, it's still cool. I couldn't pull it off! lol I know Santa's real...I have to pay him every year!

  14. Maybe we'll meet up. Just got deployment orders last week for Feb. 16th the the 344th CASH in Iraq. Luckily Docs rotate for 90 days.
  15. It is of no consequnce in a healthy adult. Premature children and infants under 6mo. are at greatest risk.
  16. Sorry to hear man. Hope all goes as well as possible.
  17. Nothing like a single serving beer set up in you garage. In the words of the wise ones..."Dude that's sweet!"
  18. Begin final with a 5-6 mph steady wind, everything is groovy for a great landing. A sudden gust to 17 mph can cause you to become firmly entrenched in your hobby..if you can smell what the Rock's cookin'.
  19. I'm at 48 jumps and my first jump was March 12th. I plan on 100 by Rantoul. You can do it.
  20. Congrats! Now that you've graduated what's the first thing you're gonna do?...."I'm going to Disney World!" Graduated AND a job. You go girl. Also I hope you're feeling better.
