yep America is extremely low when it comes to jump prices about $32 to 10000ft in cessna or islander. $380 for tandem $133 for camera so i got to laugh (or cry) when i see questions about jump prices Billy-Sonic Haggis Flickr-Fun

As you say depends on the weather not to mention you as to how you progress ?. you could complete the course in 3 days doing Aff levels 1-8. You may want to consider going to spain or states and get a holiday out off it not to mention it is cheaper than the uk, do a search off the threads on this site. You will need to be trained and have your log book signed off by a BPA instructor so when you return you can intergrate onto which ever dropzone you choose. Right know i would suggest do your tandem and see how you feel then

no its more a weather thing . we jump all year round as long as we can see the dz we go. Its just we tend to sit on our ass's a fair bit due to rain wind or cloud.visuals from altititude can be stunning and well worth a sub zero jump
