  1. Yep! Looking forward to it. They have been falling down on their work the last couple of years. The only episodes that stood out were the ones about Tom Cruise/Scientology/Chef's departure.
  2. Oh yea - she bought it... Didn't doubt it for a second. Although she's not blonde, she's pretty high on the dizzy scale. Stuff like that used to be a great source of entertainment.
  3. That is funny. Some people would believe that... My ex (she's very gullible) called me while I was on the way to the dz one time. I didn't want to talk to her, so I rolled down the window, tilted my head out a little and told her I just jumped out of the plane... I'd have to call her back later!
  4. Yea, I've been watching the story on the local news but I'm surprised that there hasn't been any coverage otherwise. Once the news got around the campus the students were lined up out the door to get the antibiotic (at $90 a pop I believe). It's hard to believe that, as contagious as that is and how many people she came into contact with that nobody else has contracted it. I'm not one for flu vaccinations or anything like that, but I have to agree with skymama on this one. If you're regularly in contact with lots of other people, get the vaccinations. An infection like this, given how contagious it can be, this could/can be much worse. Get the shots!
  5. Crawfish Etouffee... It's what's (was) for dinner...
  6. Kinda hard to tell just from what you have here. I'd look at frame 1 of "s1" and see if there's some code associated with it.
  7. Don't know about boiled peanuts in/around ATL but I just move away from B'ham so I know you won't find many places on I-20 (if you're going that way) but it's hard to go down many hiways/rural routes without running into some place that doesn't have them. The best place I've found fresh boiled peanuts are along 231 just across the Bama border (around Campbelton I think). The Cajun boiled ROCKS!!!
  8. Damn! I've got that CD somewhere... I even liked the track with Tammy Wynette(sp?) or some country chick doing the vocals. Was that her???
  9. AVG still has free anti-virus protection software available. They were regarded as the best freeware version of av software for a while. I guess that's why they're moving towards a more commercial mindset. You can still get 'basic' av protection for free here:http://free.grisoft.com/ Not sure what all basic protection covers but you might check it out. I'm not a network/security guru but I'd think it's probably good enough for home/personal use.

    Question for actors

Yep, that's one... Although I didn't know that until now. Apparently there are quite a few -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mainstream_films_with_unsimulated_sex

    Question for actors

Seems like I read somewhere that they do some sort of tape/patch thingy... I did read a couple of weeks ago that there were a few movies made where they actually had intercourse when doing the scene for the movie (no not porn! I'm sure they didn't show the actual penetration). Wasn't like Indie flicks or anything either. I think that was back in the 70's-ish. Don't remember the actors or movie names.
  12. Yea... I have to agree with you there. That did get a bit annoying. I just clicked past them.
  13. Might be specific to developer (Java) positions then. I think the difference was about $5-10 an hour-ish. I'll pm you some contact info tomorrow. BTW - have you ever posted your resume on Monster? Every time I have in the past my phone/email goes ape-shit.
  14. I've had a lot of calls from people in Orlando as well. Most of the ones i still have contact info for are in Tampa but I'm sure they either have offices in Orlando or cover the Orlando area. I'll give them a call and get some contact numbers together for you if you want. What type of position would you be looking for (i'm sure they'll ask)? BTW - one thing i've learned from the calls recently, unless you're really attached to the Orlando area, is that the rates seem to be a bit higher in Tampa/St. Pete (for development positions anyway).
  15. I was a contractor for 16+ years. I know the story well. I finally got tired of all the up/down's and took a perm position. Aren't you in the Bay area? What kind of work do you do? I still have recruiters calling me all of the time wanting to know if i'm looking or if i know of anyone who is. Let me know if you think i can help. I'd be glad to hook you up with them...

  18. When I bought my first mask I took my prescription to the dive shop I got certified at and they special ordered the lenses and somehow ground them into the mask. I think they had to do it that way because of the difference of prescriptions in my left and right eye. Basically it looked like two oversized eye glass lenses attached to the inside of my mask. It worked ok I would say but I've since just worn my contacts and no prescription lense in my mask since I can get away with that with not much problems. I just hated taking out/putting back in my contacts on the boat.
  19. I'm a developer. I work as a consultant to BellSouth. My job isn't that boring most of the time... My ADD helps out when things slow down. The pay is nice, it does help with this sport.
  20. You might research GABA (an amino acid/neurotransmitter). I use it for other things but I've heard there's been a lot of research done on chronic pain management involving GABA.
  21. Not a dentist, but I think they'll have to crown it. If they do have to crown it, try and get them to go ahead and do a root canal because if you ever have to get a root canal on that tooth after that, you'll have to pay for another crown and those are big bucks... This happened to a friend at work.
  22. Mojo is also one of my favorites. Good for baking or grilling chicken and pork. It's a Cuban marinade with a light hint of citrus. It's usually made with orange or grapefruit juic and sometimes both.
  23. Stubbs' is awesome. I use their marinades and spicy bbq sauce all the time!
  24. Damn, I saw that movie a looooong time ago. So long ago I don't remember that scene. Guess I'm gonna have to watch that one again, if it's on dvd.
