  1. That's true. I've used freetranslation a lot, and lots of times some words/phrases don't translate very well.
  2. This is kinda' a catch-22 post isn't it? If lurkers respond to this, then they really aren't lurking anymore, are they?
  3. Nic your calves are gorgeous! As is the rest of your bod!

    I LOVE PIE

Me thinks, maybe, you people up yonder don't know the proper way to make a punkin' pie! Just can't see how someone can call it awful.

  6. Excuse me miss! I'd like to see your bra please!
  7. Well I love'em. Damn girl! You sooo fine!!!
  8. Sorry for the hijack, but *damn* dude, that pic is fu**ing priceless! I'm still lmao! I'm gonna hafta share that one around the office.
  9. I have a pair of Birdz - Bill model. I've only jumped with them about 25 times, but no visible wear at all. They're very comfortable, can't even tell I'm wearing them. I've had a contact lense come out a couple of times with the old "flex" goggles, but with these, not even close. They fit very well.
  10. If he has a computer and you can get access to it while he's not aruond, this one's pretty funny: Make sure some applications are running but not on top of any desktop icons if possible. Hit print-screen. Open up mspaint and paste the desktop image and save it on the hard drive somewhere. Go to desktop properties and make that image his new wallpaper. It's sure to drive him completely nuts trying to close the non-existent applications unless he's a windows guru and even then it may take him a while to figure out. He'll probably try rebooting the pc several times! You may even want to have a few *choice* jpegs or a word doc open with some tasty material before doing the print screen.
  11. Thanks again man! I'll tame the beast eventually!
  12. Thanks Dude! I've just about got pro packing down, I probably wouldn't hav any problems at all with an older canopy. I might try packing some of the older rigs this weekend just to see. After I feel comfortable pro packing my new canopy I'll see if someone around can show me. But I have a funny feeling after I wear my new canopy down pro packing, I'll probably just stick to that. Even though it gives me problems, I can still get it packed in a little over 15 minutes.
  13. Thanks! Does packing it over and over help any or just jumping it?
  14. OK, I'll bite... What's psycho pack?
  15. I feel your pain man! I just got a new Sabre II 210. I've only got about 15 jumps on it. I packed it a couple of times to day and the only way I can get it in the bag is just to cram it in... Not sure about jumping it like that though!
  16. Absoulutely agree here! I've seen many people that spend all of their time in the weight room and never do cardio work. I think a lot of people don't realize what all health benefits you get from regular cardio workout.
  17. When you start doing any type of aerobic exercise, your body starts off burning sugar stored in your muscles for energy. After you keep this up for 8-10 minutes, your body realizes if your going to keep up this level of activity, your glycogen stores (sugar stored in the muscle cells) will soon start to get depleted. Your body then switches over to the best energy source for extended periods of activity (fat). This is called the Krebs cycle. Basically your body uses fat and oxygen to create a chemical reaction to generate energy. This is what is meant by an aerobic exercise, when your body uses fat and oxygen to create energy. So if your goal is to burn body fat, you want your body to remain in this cycle to burn fat for energy. If you pick up the pace to much, your body cannot get enough oxygen to the muscles to maintain this cycle. It then reverts back to burning sugar for energy. A good rule of thumb to keep in mind to make sure you stay in this cycle, is to make sure you can carry on a conversation with someone working out next to you. If your huffing and puffing to keep up the pace, more than likely your back to burning sugar again and need to slow down until you're breathing more regularly. Hope this helps. Trey

    Moving

Welcome to Birmingham dude! (well when you get here anyway) I've moved back and forth from Birmingham to San Antonio a couple of times, so I know how it is. Don't worry about it! You're not moving that far away... If you end up not being happy, MS is just right next door! You can always go home. It's good to change things up a bit from time to time. I think you'll like Birmingham, it's not too bad. If you were moving from LA or NYC, it might be a different story. Come out and jump with us at Pell City sometime if you get a chance. Good luck with the job prospect! Trey
  19. Where oh Where??? I can't see it!
