  1. Yup.. Me too!!! Anyone hear all the fuss about the "Road Kill" Gummi's? To show my support, I had to go out and buy4 or 5 bags!
  2. What's "blazing A's"? Haven't heard that one before...
  3. The cows I eat are vegetarians... Does that count?
  4. So did I! I completely missed three?!?!!?
  5. Tooo Cooool!!! Thx for the heads up. I missed half of it... Just caught the tail end of the fixed wing flight.
  6. I don't even answer the cell in the restroom at work... But one time I went in to take a wiz, there was this guy on the toilet in a stall(blastin ass, I might add) and he was obvoiusly on a business call (from the gist of the conversation I took it), and it was a lady he was talking to (he had the volumn up so loud I could hear her talking). That's kinda' tacky I think. The guy is shittin' up a storm and talking business on the can! Hmmmmmmmm.
  7. Too Cool!!! I want a license plate that says "/dev/car"
  8. I work in IT as well, if it seems fair to you I'd take it. But if it's their initial offer, they are probably expecting you to ask for more. They usually offer less that they are willing to pay. Is this a salaried gig? If so, I would expect more than the usual going rate for the position you are going for. If the number of hours you're going to be working (70+) is going to be a long term thing, I'd expect nearly double the pay that I'd get for a strictly 40 hr. work week. But that's typical thinking for me since I'm a contractor and I get paid by the hour and wouldn't be to happy working 50, 60 or 70 hours a week and getting paid what most people doing the same kind of work get paid for only working 40 hrs. As for companies not wanting visa workers, that seems to be a rapidly growing trend in IT shops nowdays. Congrats on the offer and good luck!
  9. Check this site out, I've found it useful on many occasions. http://www.insultmonger.com/swearing/index.htm

Mmmmmmmmmm SUSHI!!! I've been making sushi at home for a couple of years... Learn how to make it yourself and you can make anything you want. If you find out exactly what in the roll you're talking about, you may be able to talk the sushi chef at another resturant into making it special for you (they're usually very willing to accomodate), but if it's a corporate resturant they may only want to make what's on the menu. Also, tuna and salmon are the easiest fish to get that's sushi grade if you're interested in doing it yourself.

Oh, well in that case you'd probably love it. I can't speak about the small portable units but I love having sat radio in my car. I never listen to FM anymore. I think it's very worth the $10/mo. service fee.

I'd try and demo one to see how well it works inside a building. I have Sirius in my car and I lose reception going under bridges and in parking decks. It may only work outside with a clear line of site with the sat's. But if you work outside I don't guess it'd make much difference...
  13. I saw that too! I go thru shitloads of wasabi, so I'm pretty used to it, but I can't imagine snorting it...
  14. I second that one!!!! (and messy, bird dust gets everywhere)
  15. You'd eat your pet? Poor pet! Well I did have to raise a hog in high school, take him to the county fair and have him auctioned off. A lot of people ate that particular pet!
  16. Wabbit! If it doesn't work out you can make stew! Actually, I guess you could make stew out of most of them.....
