  1. I have one. We like it for the most part. It is way more expensive, but it seems to do fairly well for dog hair etc. I have kind of mixed feelings about ours really. It's a nice vacuum but pricey. I'd say if you have the money go ahead, but I wouldn't go without eating to get one. I know probably not a whole lot of help. ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  2. My 2 cents...If you are undecided between sport bike and cruiser, check out Victory. I've got a Victory Jackpot. It looks good and is plenty fast. 100ci motor with plenty of torque. Plus it's big enough that it is comfortable to ride all day. ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  3. I don't do them often, but a good PLF saved my bacon a few weekends ago. I'm always ready to do one, and only make the decision to stand it up at the last second when I see how everything is working out. It's a lot easier to prepare to PLF and stand up, then to prepare to stand up and have to do a PLF. ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  4. QuoteDude, They just looked at you and decided they should add it on[/reply You could be right, they must have assumed I was brain damaged already ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  5. Oh yeah, the total bill with the new title etc was 137, and that only gets me to Feb. Have to renew them again then. Indiana car registration really bites ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  6. Just went to get plates for my new motorcycle. After wasting an hour of my day I get home and look over my reciept. On top of the $25 wheel tax, and $62 excise tax they hit me for a $10 contribution to the "Spinal Cord and Brain Injury Fund" It wouldn't tick me off so much if they had asked if I'd like to contribute to it, but no they just throw it on there. I'm sure it is some kind of legislation, but I've never seen it on my truck registration. I almost feel it's discrimatory, people in cars get head injuries too, why single out the bikers? Do any other states have something like this? I'm off to contact my congress people, thanks for letting me vent ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  7. I don't mind the '07. I didn't really like the way the '08 looked and they didn't have the white in the 08 models. The hard part is gonna be trying to sell my 98 Honda in October at the end of the Indiana riding season. ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  8. I had a Honda Shadow 1100. This bike is MUCH quicker off the line and a lot torquier (if that's a word). As far as cornering I'm still getting used to the monster 250 rear tire so I haven't pushed it too hard, but it handles fine in puttin around town and on the highway ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  9. Well I did it. I bought a new '07 Victory Jackpot this weekend. Put about 250 miles on it the first day getting it home. So far I couldn't be happier. The bike handled like a dream and the dealer treated me well. Free Arlen Ness pipe upgrade plus $1600 in free accessories. And it doesn't hurt that the bike turns some heads ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  10. I'm seriously thinking about buying an 07 Victory Vegas Jackpot and wondering if anybody had any experience with Victory bikes. The price seems good compared to HD and I like the looks better, but curious about maintance and reliability etc. Anybody have any experience good or bad would help me out. Thanks ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  11. I just got this in an email, but since I live near South Bend, Redskins was replaced with Notre Dame ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  12. I came up with one for my son's bowling league team. It's 3 boys and a girl so I thougth "3 hot dogs and a bun" would be a great name, my wife had other ideas though ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  13. Oh yeah I forgot about 4th of July when you didn't even say hi, just "Did you bring your rig?" ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  14. I've got about 100 jumps on my 188 and love it. Made the mistake of letting another jumper use it and take it to the corn freaks boogie and had a hell of a time getting it back from her. I do believe she is gonna buy one of her own when she upgrades but until then she begs to use mine constantly ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
  15. I'm not sure why the plate guy wouldn't overturn that call. If it's obvious and the coach asks for an appeal I"ll get together with the other ump and we'll discuss it and most of the time the right call gets made. As for the guy reversing his own call, I can see why he wouldn't. If you reverse your own call it opens a whole other can of worms. The coach you reversed it against will come unglued and then any call he made for the rest of the game the coaches would have questioned. I've seen it happen. Some times its better to just know you blew that one and move on. Umpires are human too :-) ------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
