  1. Cool!! I have an S-Fly expert also. I had issues with customs and paid $203.xx as duties. It would be cool if flyyourbody opens a dealership here. Also be proactive when you track the order reach New york, Chronopost(if you have ordered with the faster shipping option) takes a few days before they contact you, call them and get the release forms faxed to you. Expect about a 10 day delay in customs. Kris.
  2. I received my copy today and just finished reading it. It is a good read. I would definately recommend it. Kris. edited for spelling.
  3. Cool!! Congartulations!! What did you end up ordering? Kris.
  4. I want to export my Garmin ForeTrex 201 logs in NMEA format but the Garmin MapSource software does not read it. There is an option on the unit to set the export format to NMEA. Any help on this is appreciated. Kris.
  5. What is cold smoke? Where can I buy it? Kris.

  7. Belated wishes to all three of you!! Kris.
  8. That is crazy!! Were you wearing a Neptune or protrack? It would be interesting to see the log. Kris.
  9. What do you mean ...:0 ? I docked on you in your S-Fly, didn't I? How many times has that happened before? Zero. But I don't Owe beer for that. Who did the docking? I was just being a good rabbit.
  10. It is highs in the low 50s and sunny this weekend at SDC. Hopefully I can get 10 jumps in. Kris.
  11. That is cool. I have had a Neptune since I was on student status. Kris.
  12. I don't compensate for the movement from the head. I don't claim that I am good enough to compensate for these movements. I don't say that I get on heading openings all the time. I have felt myself slide and have on occasion rotated over 90 degrees before the canopy starts to deploy(when I over do this looking thing). I prefer to know right away that the PC is out of the burble. That is the only reason I look at it after the throw. I don't know if you checked out what equipment I jump or not but here goes.... 1) Main Pack tray has open corners 2) Birdman Specific PC(9' Bridle and 28" ZP ) BOC deployment 3 ) Sab2 170 (less than 1.2 WL) Unless I screw up badly when I look, I will get a opening without line twists. I never looked at my PC until I had 50 WS jumps or so. Looking at the PC is a technique that evolved naturally. As far as people new to wingsuit jumping. There have been a couple of people(one had over 1000 jumps, the other over 4000 jumps) that did their first WS jumps after asking me how to exit and deploy. I told them to pick a point on the ground and maintain heading as it gets close to deployment altitude and keep looking at that point thru wave off and deployment. Kris.
  13. The idea is not to keep looking at the PC. It is to twist the head slightly to watch the PC catch air and then turn back to a symmetric position. This happens after the hands come in symmetrically for a split second and then the body is symmetric for the opening. I had line twists on less than 10 jumps in the last hundred WS jumps and about 4 were due to packing errors on a new canopy. Kris.
  14. I always look to see that the PC has cleared the burble during deployment. I used to have a regular Cazer 28" ZP PC(with 85" bridle) until switching to a Birdman specific Cazer PC(9' Bridle, 28" ZP PC). The birdman specific PC has a smaller hackey. Kris.
  15. Did you swoop the CREW formation?? Glad you are O.k and retrieved all your gear. Kris.
  16. I have seen it already and played with it as well. Cool Kris.
  17. Leroy, What canopy were you jumping? At what wingloading? Kris.
  18. I am arriving on Thursday night(9:39pm). Just purchased my tickets.
  19. didn't you just get an S-Fly ?? You rich dude you... Not really!! I am on a "away" project so the housing and food are paid for and I am jumping less than my budgeted number of jumps. I sold the GTI to buy the S-Fly . Kris.
  20. What about those those fockers(err I mean flockers
  21. Welcome to the flock Jason. Looks like great body position for the first jump. Cool!! Congrats!! Kris.
