BM fixed the suit for me. I have it back. I will get post a pic of the repair after I fly it tomorrow or next weekend. Kris.

He was talking about 180 mph GS and 100 mph airspeed. Most GPS receivers read with some error. A few feet off on start and end point of a leg can show quite a bit of error. For example 14 feet more per leg will show a speed of almost 10mph more. That is a big error percentage for speeds achieved during tracking. Kris. P.S: I used 14 feet as an example because a handheld GPS receiver at rest with good satelite signal shows about 10-20 ft accuracy.

Fixed and flying. A 5$ fix

I was hooking up the suit this morning and noticed a tear in the wing. The ZP on the wing ripped(about an inch) where the tabs are sewn. right at the bottom(pics coming soon). Rigger said it is fixable and is working on it. But I am a little pissed. Kris.

I will consider this option if Bolas(he contacted me first about this suit), is not happy with the fit. He has the suit out at the Harvest moon boogie. Eric the guy lives in Florida, should be plenty of BMI's around. Kris.

I received my new S3 today a pic is attached. I was scared when I saw how big the arm wings were. I had gotten into the habit of pulling around 4K on the smaller suits. I was jumping out of a C182(for the first time) and was totally scared about the exit until I was actually in the door. Did 3 practice touches and pulled at 6k on the first jump. Flew the suit for a bit on the second jump and pulled at 5.5K. Hope to put a few jumps on the suit this weekend. Kris.

Most of the flocks that I was on at Rantoul were in the 85 mph range. You would be flying the GTI at less than its potential. Kris.

You asked me that question once. What do YOU think? I think it is not o.k. I waited until I had enough jumps and lots of exit and deployment practice. The reason I asked you that question was not because I thought I was ready. It was because there was a possibility at that time of me having to return to India and not know ing when I would get to jump again. I don't remember how I exactly worded it but the intent was "If I have close to 200 jumps but not quite 200, can I jump a wingsuit?" Kris.

I did not want to sell due to possible liability. I also want to see if anyone on here thinks it is o.k for people with less than 200 jumps to fly a wingsuit. Kris.

Is the reply I received from a guy that contacted me about buying my GTI(DZ classifieds). I asked for DZ information and contacted the DZ. They said this person is a heads up guy and has the right equipment but has less than a 100 jumps. I refused to sell the suit to him He mentioned jumping with a lot of BirdPeople at his DZ and doing a bunch of tracking dives. He mentioned wanting to buy an S3 but people telling him to go with a Classic or a GTI. There must be Birdpeople encouraging him if he feels that he is ready. Would you encourage someone like this to fly a wingsuit rightaway? Kris.

Good Flocking at 74 mph needs the fliers to be really good or be of similar build and they must be flying similar suits. You don't need to slow down to be able to flock, just learn a few things. Looks like you jump at atleast one DZ that has experienced Birdpeople, so that should not be an issue. Kris.

There is a hole(looks like it is by desigh) on the GTI as well. This leads straight into the inflating portion of the wing. I think if this were sealed, there might be over inflation issues. So is there a hole like this on the S3 as well? Kris.
