Something near and dear to my heart. I'm the first person to bitch but the last person heard. Why? Because I drive a tanker here in NW Pennsylvania. Live right here in town with the damm refinery, and we pay the highest price's in the state. We are right about $1.87 for reg no-lead. Super is up to over $2.00 a gal. Yeah, you that live in the S. Cal area are sucking it up a lot more then we are, and therefore the higher cost per gal. The rising cost of crude is what is driving it up...all supply and we demand stuff. Plus with the world situation as it is, who knows what will be going on Politically in the next year to keep the prices up, or help bringing them back down. So, you bring your beer? I am probably wrong here, but, even if you were to exit at 1000', don't depend on your CYPRES to fire at 750'. I do beleive you still would need to be going towards the earth at a relatively faster speed then what a 250' vertical drop is going to acheive. Could be wrong, but I'm not gonna depend on it. All fuels that I know of or heard of are somewhat carbon based. So, altho Parafin is from Crude Oil, parafin being Food Grade Wax's and such, Jet (don't know where you get A1) maybe you means Jet A...is actually from Crude Oil. Jet fuels are actually nothing more then K1...yes kerosene, and have a multitude of differant additives in the formula which when refined beyond just plane ol' K1 make differant "blends" of Jet fuels that are in use today. An example would be JP8, which is what the military are currently using A LOT of. Is nothing more then Jet A with 3 or 4 military only additives that have been blended at the refinery. Could be wrong, on some of this...but damm....been draggin that Tank around for a couple of years now, hauled a (hehe) shit load of JP8 and such to include NavGas, Crude, Gasoline, K1, K2, what we calls HHO (Home Heating Oil), many many many grades of wax including the stuff on them there dixie cups for drinking BEER, so could be wrong there....but I like the sling shot kinda thing meselfs So, you bring your beer?
